That's hilarious tbqh...
Yes...the same one.
Good night, it's been a good tussle. Look forward to doing it next Tuesday

Agreed......We should do it more often.
If Baylor wins out, they will have a legitimate case of top 4 spot even with their non-conference schedule.
FSU's a good team, but not great. They're best wins are against above average teams at best. Nothing impressive on their resume and their gonna get Duke in the ACC le game unless an upset occurs. Georgia Tech would give them a much better game.
*At the Current moment*
The Playoff is a gigantic failure. FSU is the final Undefeated Team and yet sitting behind 2 losers? Under the previous system they would be left out of the le Game? Not a fkn chance.
Agree that the playoff committee is a total failure. And the SEC bias can't be more clearly laid out than in this article from BR:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2...ek-13-rankings
If you follow college football at all you are where aware of the fact the best football in the land comes out of the SEC. Those teams as a group are the best in the country, not even debable. And, I'm a Pac12 fan living here in Cali.
Only a fool with an agenda wouldn't get that.
SEC teams have the hardest road to travel, they are in tuff week to week, that can't be said about other conferences.
Baylor, TCU are good teams but they would get crushed playing an SEC schedule. They aren't physical enought.
So if Bama loses in the SEC le game, do they get in with two losses?
Does Missy St then get in with one loss, even though they didn't even win their division?
If Oregon and FlaSt lose, is it possible for both TCU and Baylor to get in?
This is why four teams sucks. They needed at least 8 from the start.
FINALLY....got something right.
I'm also right about you being a miserable obese .
Well at least ya finally got...one...right, yep we do need 8 teams.
Texas Tech by two td's, hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!
Nick Chubb is only aver....hahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!
8 teams kills College Football. Maybe even 6 does it. Atleast with 6 you reward a team with Undefeated regular season with a BYE. But most likely, you are just giving "the best 1-lose team" a huge advantage by playing 1 less game in the Playoffs than the rest.
8 teams would be disaster. You would basically have an Undefeated FSU vs 2-Lose Ole Miss in the 1st Round. Team losing nearly 20% of it's scheduled games should not be competing for a Championship. I grew up in a time when "#1" meant something.... 1994 PSU & 2004 Auburn know what this means. In American Sports, CFB was the only sport remaining where every single game mattered.
I agree.
This opens the door to an NCAA basketball tourney where no one gives a about the regular season.
The committee is clearly a mess as clarified by the article. Again, this first year needs to be SEC heavy, or zero SEC teams, to wake the NCAA up. Now it does not look like the SEC will get 3 teams in, so I gotta hope none make it. This is still possible.
The scenario that would legitimize the committee would have Alabama winning out in a dominant fashion along with Fl. St and Oregon. Then have TCU, Baylor, or Ohio St. round it out with only one of these winning out. 4 teams from different conferences would save the day for the all powerful non biased committee. This would require Miss St. losing to hole Miss.
I prefer panic in the streets. Alabama, Miss St., lose. Or Georgia beats Bama in a great game SEC championship with a Miss st. Win out. Then somehow, the committee puts all 3 of these teams in (a two loss Georgia would be tasty). Very unlikely.

Agree with all of this except the bolded. Bama has not looked dominant at all, should have lost to LSU and barely got by Arkansas. If they face Georgia in the SEC champ game in Atlanta, I can see them losing that game easily. Georgia has to be in top 4 as conference champs. Then you've got 2-loss Bama which beat 1-loss Miss St (although they're going to have a tough time in Egg). What do they do? The only "right" thing would be to include 3 of the other 4 conference champions assuming they're all 1/0 loss, but given the past week's rankings that is no guarantee. Then you'd have panic in the streets...
The other interesting thing is obviously TCU/Baylor. If Baylor wins out, Big-12 have already said they are "co-champs" despite the h2h win by Baylor. Does beating Minnesota outweigh losing the h2h? I find it hilarious BTW that Minnesota remained 25th after a loss solely so they didn't have to have a 2nd straight week of TCU/Baylor controversy. Pretty clever slipping OSU in between them to blur the line a bit further.
The "every single game matters" argument from the BCS honks was the worst.
And an undefeated FSU team means nothing to me since we all know the ACC is a mediocre conference. I need to see if they can beat Baylor.
8 teams is coming, sooner or later......hopefully sooner.
I'm loving this Final 4 system (hope Blake is right about 8 teams) it's actually playoff games from here on out and has been since the first Final 4 came out, I like it and this is why NCAA football is more exciting than NFL football...in the regular season. Every game is huge, one loss s you up. I like that ...must win...mentality.
I would not watch half the CFB games I did this year if the rally cry was "Just lose 2 baby! ! !"
Exactly. Can't wait for 3 loss Bama to make it every year.
Alabama is currently #1 with one loss.
So much for the "every game counts" theory.
Agreed
Hence "So far the Playoff System has been a failure"
Only because it's obvious more than four teams are needed.
Simply declaring Florida State to be national champ because they're undefeated in the ACC is stupid.
OOC schedule
FSU: Oklahoma St, Notre Dame & Florida
