More Kawhi touches.......
Road wins in Miami, Chicago, and Dallas with all their injuries does say something, imo.
Is there anybody active on the Pacers anywhere near the talent level of a Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez, or Carmelo Anthony?
The Nets and Knicks are built like , but there's definitely talent there.

Interesting news: Pop out at least tonight, possibly a few more, with minor medical issue. Ettore Messina will swerve in his stead.
Impressive I must say
I know that. My take comes from seasons before too up to their current record. People were placing him equal or even better than spo before only to anually choke against the heat in the playoffs
The Pacers from the past couple of seasons weren't overall better or even equal to the Heat, IMO (I think they were playing above their heads last season before the spectacular nosedive). They just matched up well against Miami because of guys they could throw at Lebron defensively and having bigs the Heat couldn't physically match up against.
From that perspective, you can make a case that Vogel is comparable to Spoelstra - Spo just had the talent advantage.

Damn, hope Pop's ok. At any rate, get ready to see a lot more Duncan post play tonight.
They had the higher seed last year and a 3-2 lead the year before that. Yes talents in teams make a difference but using that argument it makes it hard to discuss the difference in coaching. You do make a good point though but I also disagree that they were playing above their heads, the East was ty and they were really the only compe ion of the Heat. They had 3 tries ironically the first 2 were closer than in the last one which they had HCA.
Sucks that Indy is so injury depleted. This could've been a good game otherwise.
Kawhi:
"Why would toss a burger at a Barbie?".....lol.
Our attention are always focused on the players' injuries but there are also some people behind the scenes that matter so much for the Spurs to win games, be in the play-offs & fight to repeat, like Pop.
When was the last time Pop had not coach this team? Except maybe when he was thrown out of the game bec of 2 technicals*
Hope it's just a game or two & not serious to cause an alarm.
Get well soon Pop![]()
Danny just doing danny things.
