Parker is the closest thing to a me-first type player they have.
I mean it's not saying much since at his worst he's far more charitable than the hero ballers that plague the league.
But still you can tell it sometimes...it is what it is.

Never thought I could hate a fellow Spurs fan, or is that actually Kawhi Leonard fan, as much as I dislike you, OP. Kawhi is getting his touches and so is everyone else so stop ing ing all the time.
I like Kawhi, but I dun like his post-ups tho. Hes not tricky enough in the post, and just relies on athleticism to get a shot off.
I think think he is better off coming off screens, cutting to the basket, playing off the ball.
He's the same dude who made a thread that Parker had to be more aggressive, just last week. Smh
Kawhi goes into his move and if he fails he passes it out rather than force a good shot. No one really cuts off of him or the like to help force a rotation or give him an outlet when people overplay his right hand.
This is a work in progress but Parker does get him the ball even after an aborted attempt from Kawhi or if he defers. The team knows what to do on Duncan postups because it's corporate canon. The book is still being written on Kawhi. The play is slow to develop right now no matter who is in and his teammates need to move better off of his moves. It's not like Kawhi is doing a whole lot of creating for his teammates right now either.

To be fair, Parker, the best 3-point shooter in the NBA, was wide open in the corner for a 3 late in the 4th a couple of times, and Kawhi completely ignored him both times.
How the can fans of a team hate an all time great player for their team so much? I don't get it and never will. We get it you have your faves on the team and ride for them BUT MY GOD the hate for Tony and Manu in here at times is just puzzling.

My main problem with Parkers game is his court vision on the break 90% of the time when he doesn't take it to the hoop.
If 1 or 2 defenders get back he pulls up and slows it all down.
Leonard is always in a great position on the break for a bounce pass but he refuses to give it, his vision to see Leonard down the wing is crap.
When he has 2 defenders he needs to draw them and drop that pass to Leonard for the big finish.
Leonard gets in front of his defender only to not be given to ball and for Parker to pull up so Leonard then sinks back out to the 3 point line.
Manu would drop that pass thats for sure!
Parker is great, tbh... haters gonna hate
