    BTW last 10 games: 16 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 2 apg, 2 spg on 51 FG%

And his three point shot isn't even falling yet. 23 years old, kid's going to be a monster. A couple of all-star selections at the very least tbh.
I'm not worried about whether or not Kawhi becomes "the man," since I think the days of roster building around a centerpiece (or even two) are long gone. The new trend seems to be moving toward positionless basketball, building a deep roster that can adapt to any matchup situation, while having a dynamic offense that features a scoring and playmaking threat at all 5 positions.

Kawhi doesn't deserve the max because he alone is "the future of the franchise," but because his rebounding and defense are, right now, the best in the league at that position, and he has already proven to be eminently coachable. His offense is also showing potential and he should be a solid 18ppg/50% scorer in due time. I don't think he'll ever to be able to carry an offense. But so what? Those iso days are behind us.

When Duncan retires, I can't wait to watch the rest of the league bend your team over and assrape you on a nightly basis. Enjoy your time at the top, your time there is quickly coming to an and.
Hahahah. Yeah, dumb gnsf is too stupid to realize winning rings might be a little harder w/o Timmy. They're in for a surprise!

Mav krew sees this though bc you're just that much smarter than dum gnsf.

Agree. I do think he can be dominant offensively in the low post though, there aren't very many players that he doesn't dominate physically in the post. His game off the dribble is what's key...if he can continue to improve his finishing and handles at the rate he has the past couple seasons I think he can become an efficient 20 ppg scorer. Which would be huge given the fact that, like you said, he's already the best rebounder and defender for his position.

he can get better at creating and scoring, but i dont see him ever being a real playmaker. he just doesn't have that natural feel for it that even a guy like Diaw or Iguodala has. thats where his upside is limited as far as being a "centerpiece" of a team

Yeah, I'm not sure how good of a playmaker he can be either. I can see him drawing double teams in the post but his playmaking off the dribble is shaky atm.

I think the team will still rely on Enrique for penetration post-Timmy.

Maybe Timmy can mentor him (as well as Diaw) in playmaking. If you remember, Duncan was not a very good passer his first couple of years in the league.

yeah but passing out of the post in a 4-down type situation is very different than passing while on the move, full head of steam towards the rim, with perimeter guys moving/cutting, etc.

diaw's mastery of playmaking in the post and on the drive are what make him so unique

So just watched the game on DVR...Lee is healthy and out of the rotation now. GS plays a lot of guys snd they say he's been getting DNP-CDs. Basically can't crack their top 9 guys

I mean Boris is a career underachiever fat imo who could have been so much more if he wasn't lazy so he's nothing to brag about tbh. But at least he can crack the rotation of a contender
