Hawks with another win on the 49ers.![]()
Also the position has become a bit easier with the rule changes punishing defenses and more spread formations being used. Two-thirds of these QBs would have terrible numbers prior to 2004 when the league changed the rules so Peyton wouldn't play like dog in the playoffs.

That was a massive win for SEA on the road in the playoff hunt. No one wants to play that team in the playoffs obviously.
Sherman going Godzilla on Bay Area
I think we're just reverting to the old days, tbh..
NFL teams generally used the running game/defense approach to win Super Bowls, and it seems like the game is coming full circle, as we saw with Seattle last year, and with SF/Baltimore in the prior years..
This era has just been stacked with elite/historic QBs, along with the rule changes helping..Manning/Brady/Rodgers/Brees are 4 of the greatest QBs of all-time, they won their conferences with their arms/weapons due to historic talent + the rules..
It seems like teams are adjusting and reverting now, though, as we see with the Cowboys/Patriots/Eagles/Cardinals/Seahawks/etc this year..even the Broncos have been running the ball excessively, as of late..
Do it - threads over and it's the end of the day. Rage on.
Sherman and Wilson eating Kaep's turkey
nah I'll do it next time @ the beginning of the thread in middle of the day.
Well, I'm not being racist, but I think it also coincides with the Kap/Cam/RG type QBs being drafted so high. Legit pocket passers win more often than not historically and there's just been a flood of highly drafted read-option/running QB's with limited ability to read defenses. Running is and always will be important, but I just think there is a legit dry spell in QB talent.
I see you my man.
It's not racist, it's discussed at length in the Black community, tbh..
Black QBs style of play works in college, but they are never trained to adjust their style to the NFL..college coaches use them to win games/keep their jobs, and the schools use them to win games and generate interest/money, and the player benefits from making a lot of money and getting drafted in the 1st round at the NFL level..
However, as we have seen the past few years, they don't learn to become pocket passers at the college level, which hurts them in the NFL..there are White examples, as well, of course, like Tebow and maybe even Johnny Bench..even when they are able to utilize their legs at a high level, as we have seen with RG3/Newton, they suffer from taking a beating from opposing defenses, which limits their career, going forward..
Top CFB programs are going with the quick fix (Every 2-3 years) and starting mobile QBs. Dominant Pocket Passers are and always will be more dominant.
Yeah, well tons of qb's were taken in the first two rounds(which makes my pick of luck really lucky), including my cousin taking brees and stafford in rounds 1 and 2 (only a one qb league) Oh and seatte D was taken in round 2 and Carolina D in round 3.
seriously let me join this league next year

There's no excuse. No reason to be this bad. For the whole NFC South really.
