TP has a broken rib from Daye hitting him?
The future — Parker trusts he’s not Rondo

BOSTON — Tony Parker’s medical opinion is this:
He has a broken rib, courtesy of an Austin Daye collision in practice, and the injury seems to be spreading.
“Weird,” he said Sunday, rubbing a spot on his upper chest as evidence.
So Parker wasn’t at his best against the Celtics, although he ended with nine assists. But the Spurs still pulled away easily, with contributions through the lineup, and this is the forecast of a future Parker doesn’t fear.

TP has a broken rib from Daye hitting him?
Hope he can weather the injury until Patty comes back, tbh... GWS...
Sore rib apparently... still painful and not good.
Not a fan of players' making excuses, tbh..
The article kind of glosses over the rib. I assume they'll do x-rays?
He makes it sound like the injury was during practice before the Boston game. I'm pretty sure they cleared him to play, and wouldn't do that with a broken rib.
This article confuses and enrages me(didn't even read it lol)! Does he have a ing broken rib or not? We already have one mystery injury, we don't need another.![]()
Article says he "feels" like he has a broken rib... but closes with what apparently is the diagnosis: sore rib. I mean, I don't think the Spurs would let him play with a broken rib. Sore is painful enough.
yeah... plus you wouldn't want an opposing player going at his ribs now...
Parker has a broken rib? Fak.
I don't think the Spurs would have allowed him to play if the injury was a broken rib.
Don't like the comparison to Rondo at all. I regard Rondo as a little punk who cares more about ac ulating assists and stats than winning. He's a ME player, and part of the reason the Big 3 in Boston broke up (which didn't include Rondo) was because Allen, Pierce and Garnett were tired of his ty at ude.
Yah, I think Rondo wants to be compared to Parker more than the other way around. He wasn't even really part of the big 3 in Boston.
no chance Parker plays with a broken rib.. in fact I'm sure they would have x rayed in prior to the game. There's huge risks with broken ribs puncturing lungs, see Andrew Bogut in the playoffs last season.
Parker has a bit of Kobe in him
I think Daye needs to be shot![]()
Hero time with a bleeding chest? Daye kicked him like Charlie Murphy did to Rick James.
I agree with you there, especially knowing how cautious Pop and them are most of the time.
With a broken rib, still play better than Manu..
I hope TP is OK.
So you're wishing injury to Spurs players not called Kawhi!? Great... . Off.
Let's see where the Spurs go without MVParker.
Especially without Patty... hopefully it's nothing major and he can play through it
