You should actually do a quick study of that season instead of letting others do your homework for you. It wasn't as much tanking as it was players being hurt, tbh.

You tanked to get your onions. Without that tank there'd be nothing. We wouldn't even be here, because here wouldn't exist. Ellis would be selling Avon the past 15 years.

Killa, sadly I just don't think we're gonna be able to hold on to it. The East is too weak, too many victories there and we can't even confirm we're in tank mode. It even "looks" & feels like we ain't.

I am concerned about the East but the West is unforgiving. We have beat on so many teams during our le runs not a one of the lot will offer "quarter" they will exact their revenge and chants of Beat LA will no longer be needed because beating us will have become "routine". We will win a few on the east but I also expect us to lose a few at home we should not. I doubt we finish with a bottom 3 record but I do think we overdue for some luck. I know haters will say we have been lucky as but over the past 3 seasons no team has lost more games to injury ... I think we finish slightly worse than last year but that puts us in very real danger of of losing our pick. If injury form continues another injury will happen and as thin as we are ... will mean even more losses. Kobe is overextending himself ...he cant stay healthy at this pace.

Yes, I know, but my point is that it undermines 25-5-5 because he's allowing it on the other end.

He can't move on defense, Midst, you know this, not to a caliber that meets the demand. Age has arrived.

Of course the FO knows that. They're giving him his freedom to do what he always wanted to do, but, was reigned in by cir stances and considerations more crucial. Now there is no such cir stance or consideration. This is his payback. He's having the time of his life. It's his vengeance to come back the same as when he left with the Achilles.
