Anderson has a skill set. McDaniels is all athleticism. With his size and elite athletic ability, he should've been a Top 10 pick. There's a reason he fell to the 2nd round, tbh. He was the worst shooting guard at the combine by far. Not to mention McDaniel's is not really a Spurs type of guy. Too hood for us, tbh.

Does Anderson really have a skill set? He can create for others at the college level, that's it. He can't defend, his jumper is slow and unreliable, doesn't really have a position at the NBA level, etc. McDaniels would be the perfect backup to Kawhi

If not for his athletic limitations, Anderson easily would've been a lottery pick. He was the best passer in the draft and had arguably the highest bball IQ. He fell to the 30th pick because of his athletic ability alone. He'll improve with time. He just turned 21.
