True, I still enjoy GTA Vice City on my Commodore 64
if you want to wreck face i highly recommend using vivienne as a frost, spirit, and knight-enchanter or roll a mage and use that combo. it's a life saver.
Origin ed up and added FIFA 15 to my library for free..maybe they'll do the same for DAI..
Wasteland 2 is the tbh..you play Divinity Original Sin yet? If not, that's a must buy if you like Wasteland 2. The combat is a bit better in OS IMO.
I can't get into this game... i just want to use my character, don't want to switch around and micromanage every battle or the whole party. Now my party has low health and there are no potions or healing spells. And I really didn't even get into any difficult battle yet. Load times also kinda suck. I'll try to advance the story a little more, but overall, fairly displeased so far.
have you never played dragon age before. Change the potion usage on the tactics screen
I played the 1st and 2nd one all the way through. It's not the potion usage, I ran out of healing potions and I don't know where to get more/craft more... while looking for an answer, I read they really discouraged healing items in this game (both potions and spells), which IMO ing blows. They say you're supposed to use the Barrier/Guard spells, but I'm not even a mage and I don't want to have to switch to the mage to cast that on every battle. ugh, hope it's just me doing something wrong, I want to like this game, but it's just annoying.
mage autocasts it tbh. you reload healing potions at every camp you set up. if you use your inquisition perks at the wartable you can add more potions. i think i have 10 now. told you it starts out slow until you select mages or templars it speeds up. i've only used my character unless he dies then i switch to the mage to revive him.
eventually a bee potion or whatever appears as a mission on the wartable that allows you to craft a regenerative potion. as a warrior i went reaver and they have a move to self heal....i don't even use potions anymore tbh.
thanks for the hints...![]()
Finally figured out the whole camps thing... now i'm making progress...
no worries. keep a lookout for "supply crates" as well. if you're on a long level there are usually some around. they restore your potions too. hit L3 to search for things.
be warned though everything but the tank is really squishy. for every pull i have the other characters charge in first then i flank.
I finally finished the main campaign....56 hours of playtime without doing much extra.
get Vivienne (black chick) to be your mage because knight-enchanter is OP for support
I'm actually playing as a warrior/tank (level 5 right now)... I'm trying to over-level a bit on Hinterlands... although I'm to the point where I need to GTFO there soon, since some of the gates require higher levels...
word. sword and board/vanguard/champion and there's nothing that can kill you. once you get to skyhold there will be trainers there to get your third spec. i didn't see it until much later on so keep an eye out for it.
I'm almost 80 hours into this game and it doesn't even seem like I've made much progress with the storyline. Once you get to Skyhold the game really opens up and there's so much to keep you occupied.
I was worried at first when I found out that they didn't include any healing spells this time around, but I actually like it this way now. I don't waste a companion slot on somebody that is there to only heal/buff. My one complaint is that the rogues seem weak as . They are always the first ones to drop. I became a Knight Enchanter and I'm pretty much invincible. Blackwall is badass also. If I ever replay, I'm going to go with a sword and board.
finished the story last night... just been taking it slow and completing a lot of side-stuff... i still feel my armor is not up to par for being level 20 and some dragons are still giving me trouble...
tbh rogues are about stacking all your abilities to get a strong stealth opener and take your targets down half health. i think some guy solo'd the game on nightmare difficulty with it.
i've noticed doing the occulam skull shard things and going to the oasis temple to unlock the doors gives you a load of schematics. might be the best way of crafting your own solid gear...
Damn ElNono, you're a ing warrior.. you beat nearly every game that comes out..I don't know how you do it..I still haven't beat GTA IV, Max Payne 3, Skyrim..
I like games, and no multiplayer helps
I crafted some, but even with a 250 armor sometimes I go do the dragons and they beat the crap outta me... I'm starting to think that I might just try to do them solo... just to maximize the healing potions...
also, where the do you do specialization? Is that on Orlais?
Yeah, I play a lot of multi..I've put in a ton of hours into those games and had two system crashes, and a bugged Skyrim save that wouldn't let me progress the story.
lol PC gamer woes
