Bonner was a brick god, in bricklyn.
Yeah. It's also our first REAL earned loss too. We should've beaten the Suns and the Pelicans and the Rockets game was a tank job. But it sucks that the team spent so much energy on an inferior team with a big showdown in a couple days against a physical team.

Surprised at home much this board is melting down right now tbh..
We played like absolute for 3+ quarters and still should've won it at the end on the road. Yes it was a dumb play call at the end but whatever. It's 1 game, it happens. Moving on tbh.
damn LDN is really carrying my fantasy teams this year..
Manu tuning out his teamates in favor of the Mariachi band in his own head...AGAIN
Well, I'm sure Pop is loving this. Perfect motivation for the Memphis game. And I'm sure Memphis will have a fire under their asses too after getting blown out tonight...
Bonner 1-6. The one season I decide to side with him and he does this to me. Props.![]()
Yep. Friday will have two motivated teams. Should be epic.
Why Pop chose to sit TP instead of Cojo in the final sec?
Well that's ok. We lidt to an EC team
Memphis getting blown out by Houston with Dwight, T-Jones, and Beverly all sitting is more embarrassing tbh.
Pop trusts every player, tbh... like I said, this game was lost much earlier.
Surprised?
At a meltdown?
On ST?
On second thoughts, I would have considered playing TP on offense and sub Cory in for defense.
If Parker's not locked in on defense, he can be a huge liability on that end of the court.
Any updates on Splitter?
In the playoffs IMO, it's the right play to get a good shot no matter who takes it, so you're right on it being a good play. I just thought this game he could go with the hot hand anyway.
Pop shouldve pulled the plug on CoJo after the 4th or early in the OT. He played practically the entire 4th, he had to be gassed. Shouldve gone back to TP, or even put Diaw back in and have Manu run point...
Bad to lose an overtime game to a team as flawed as Brooklyn tbh...Could become two losses in a row now given that Memphis is up next
Duncan and Leonard starting out as offensive liabilities, Diaw getting killed by that no name telemarketer guy, Bonner going 1-6 on 3's. The 4th quarter comeback was really the only thing that resembled Spurs basketball tonight. Like Nono said, the game was lost much earlier.
I think if you ask Pop, that shot is the last thing in his mind... the game was awful, and we made some terrible decisions on defense with tele y
Still the same issue with Splitter. Tbh, that's the only thing that worries me about the Spurs at the moment.
Pop likes to humblebrag about how he never watches film of opponents
...
and the next game he gets absolutely torched by a rich man's steve novak for 3Q cause he doesn't realize you should put a wing on Teletovic

That would have been an interesting play to re-insert a 67%+ three point shooter. But hey, it's not real according to Pop.
You sided with him? Did you drink his soda or something? lol. Oh I also forgot to mention we should've beaten the Kings at Sacramento too. I went to that game as well, lol. Tonight was the first time we had no business winning with the Big 3 and Kawhi in the game.
