He's been playing pretty well this season... I thought he was fantastic tonight, especially filling in for injured Tony. He had a great line (17/7/6), including hitting clutch freebies (alongside Cory)...
Hopefully he can stay healthy, we could really use some solid leadership out there while shorthanded.
Not really... I mean, he could be The Minus 30 Man right now... but he's helping his team win...
Other that his shooting percentage, I think Manu has been playing very well all season. And I expect the % to go up as he gets stronger (after rehabbing the injury this summer) and as the Spurs offense begins to generate better shots.
No one is harder on Manu than himself. Really redeemed himself after his brickfest Wednesday.
Hes a maestro out there. I think he's the best passing SG of all-time...his court vision and passes are unreal tbh.
Duncan won this game. If anyone redeemed himself it's him... Don't see an appreciation thread for him though
Thank Manu for hitting your 3s and missing those 4th quarter lay-ins so that Tim could get his triple double.
Short Bus incoming...

you sound upset... wonna talk about it?
Looked great! Wonder if Tim and him play tomorrow night?
You sound like you wanna keep getting autographs... You ain't slick![]()
they should... Minny just played into OT themselves
Last game, Spurstalk was asking for his head on a stick and now being worship like Abdul to Allah.![]()
I sure do... 3 years/$21m sounds like a proper extension... the man certainly still has plenty in the tank...

Feeling really pleased with his drives to the rim, much more confident and executed with more strength and athleticism than the last few seasons. And I haven't been cringing when he attacks feeling like he's gonna get injured trying to drive. Last few seasons it felt like every drive I'd just whisper "don't get hurt, please don't get hurt"
For some reason his motions seem like he's confidant he won't injure himself and I guess I just read that body language and feel better about it too.
His 3 shot has been solid too. pulling up with no hesitation. Really great stuff from him so far.
The main knock right now is finishing around the rim, IMO... but both Tim and Baynes have been cleaning that up really well...
Yea but that scoop bank from far off the glass has been reliable. The missed chippies are frustrating, but I think another month and he will sharpen that up. takes longer to shake the rust of those old bones.
was shocked to see him make both FTs. he's looked very spry, similar to last year. despite his, taking the past two summers off has made a big difference, as Johnny Ringo kept saying.
He has more in the tank than I realized.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves now lmao
We can't rest Manu if Parker is out (along with Patty obviously). That leaves only Cory to run the offense.
