It's his only chance of remaining in the NBA beyond this season.

"10.Pick a player you are surprised is still in the NBA. My choice is Austin Daye. I think you'll have a tough time picking a bigger surprise"
LOL. I'd have to agree. Everytime he shoots this season, I cringe. It's not a good thing when you are suprised when a shot goes in.
He rode last season's 22 point, 6 for 10 3 point shooting in the Philly game all the way onto this year's roster.
I read somewhere that Austin Daye has the highest usage rate on the Spurs behind Tim, Tony and Manu. This guy doesn't stop shooting.
It's his only chance of remaining in the NBA beyond this season.
John Salmons
I thought he was unofficially retired already. Same for Jason Richardson.
Oh I remember thinking Salmons was good a few years ago.![]()
The last 10 players on Philly's roster.
Big Baby
DeJuan Blair
Jeremy Lin
Austin Daye
Jeff ayres.
And that usage rate??? THAT CHUCKER.
Paul Pierce, Turtlehead Terry
Yes, and Bryant is also the player his team most wishes was not in the NBA.
Bryant is 117th in Adjusted FG percentage. And #1 in salary.
But it gets better...imagine how awful he'll be next year.
Bonner, of course.
Cartier Martin is the correct answer.
HAHAHAH me too, until one idiot I had select my fantasy team for me because I was out of town picked that bum in the damn 7th or 8th round and I ed at him all year about his stupid ass later picks (He is not even a 10th round pick). He was flat out horrible in 012, never thought a guy could be that bad but he was. I remember him actually being decent so to speak, never really saw him play much though.I agree fully.
Austin Daye shooting ok so far. Hopefully David Thorpe's diss is waking him up.
Daye doing good but he is slow as !!
mostly it's the Knicks who already checked out for the season
^this, tbh
Emmanuel Gee-no-bily
Tim Duncan if you gauge it by how one-legged he looked in 2009 and 2010, no way I expected him to be here (and improved) as we moved into 2015.
Fortunately, the pit crew kept those wheels on. The loss of weight, the new knee brace, and a changed role all did wonders.
And, he doesn't play defense anymore either.
But at least he's a good teammate.
