It's 1900, there is talk of big hairy creatures resembling humans roaming the jungles of Africa, the natives knew about them because they've seen them. Of course the white man is sceptical, like we are now with Big Foot.
As we know the gorilla does exist. But the white world only found out about them in 1902.
Not so long a prehistoric fish one that was supposed to have died off millions of years ago was found off the coast of Japan (I think it was)
Today we see high school offensive lines bigger than NFL lines were 20 years ago.
Talk to the scientific world of 1936 about humans physical limitations, no way they could have seen a Usain Bolt running the times he does. No way they could have seen 290 pound high school linemen.
Just in my life time I've seen a world where blacks couldn't sit in the front of a bus to being our President. A time when sexuality was considered a mental illness.
What is all that about? We live in a strange land, for anyone to try and preach......oh no it was this way....shouldn't. If I'd been told in 1960 that someday there would be more black footballers on SEC teams than white ones I'd laughed in your face.
It doesn't matter what some test says in 2014, we have to ask ourselves what that test would have looked like a 100 years ago and will look like a 100 years from now.
My mom was 16 years old when she had my oldest sister, her mom was 15 when she had her. Back then in Missouri and Oklahoma it was a common occurance for girls that age to get married. To some of you here you'd see that as child molestation. Yep...strange old world we live in.
