Life, no matter how simple, found in or out the solar system will surely shake the very foundations of all the major religions on Earth. an is indeed a good candidate, and I won't be surprised if simple life is found there. I mean, there's a species of bacteria that can live in underwater vents without even using oxygen.

I've always wondered what motivates anyone to go against their surroundings and the culture they live in. Why this need to question their parents beliefs and most those in their orbit?

So then where is the "error" in Evolution? If what you say is true then why is Science in the religious buissness telling us how we got here?all possible because of years of scientific research/trial and error.

Science is all about trial and error, son. If there's a better theory than evolution that will come up in the future, scientists will quickly debunk the old theory for the new one. Your Master Designer, on the other hand, has been magically creating things without evidence to show for it. Have you seen your Master Designer create a hippo out of nothing?
Even a single strand of DNA found outside the Earth, will very well shut down the door on religion. That would mean the end of cash flow to the Vatican and all other major religious ins utions in the world. , the Vatican has been milking Jesus Christ's death for 2,000 years.

The fact so many in the know struggle with accepting the theory of evolution tells us it is not the slamdunk some like to pretend that it is. There are still questions and uncertainies.
