Parker (hamstring) is listed as probable, and was made available for the ESPN sit-down, so I'd assume he's playing. Danny Green commented that Kawhi (bruised right hand) looked good at shootaround, but that's not a guarantee he'll play obviously. I believe he's officially listed as questionable for now.
Lakers are missing the usual suspects: Nash, Randle, Xavier Henry, and Ryan Kelly.
Shouldn't be too difficult of a game regardless of whether Kawhi plays. LA's defense is god-awful so we should have no problem putting up 100+ points on them. Pretty sure we're undefeated this season when we do so.
FTL![]()
Please Lakers dont take it so seriously, its just a game![]()
You better believe Kobe is going for the record tonight. He is going to be launching tonight. He might even get it. Will do it while losing by 20 though.
Kobe's going to go hard for that record tonight. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets it tbh, especially if Kawhi doesn't play.
Kirby will get as many freebies he needs to break the record imo. Just blow these s out.
He needs 31 to get past Jordan.
So he takes 30 shots assuming he does not spend much time on the FT line.
Would be cool to double the out of him if KL won't go. See if he will actually pass...
Kawhi barely guarded him last game, IIRC..
He was atrocious against Danny Green, which means that DG will be in foul trouble in the 1st quarter tonight, book it, tbh..
Spurs win but Pop gives Black Mamba the 31 pts.
What would be really neat: To watch either Marco or Danny go off on a tear of three pointers, out-scoring Kobe and setting some new NBA record for three pointers in a game. Pop would never allow it to happen...but it would be fun to watch, imo.
Standing "o" for Kobe.
Kobe so excited against San Antonio "Spurs, that's the blue print on how to play,, they move the ball well...'
*Kobe needs 31 pts to surpass Jordan's all-time NBA record in scoring list.
*25.5 ave. pts/game this season, 2nd in the league
*scored 30+pts 6x (last time vs Sacramento in a win w/ 32 pts)
*1-14 pts vs Spurs this season.
Just came off a locker-room drama against his teammates. Let's see see how they respond.
If Utah can steal a game from San Antonio why not the Lakers? But Pop was so glad" they executed well", about his 2nd unit/bench crew vs the Knicks W/ no TD, TP, Kawhi & Manu so

Im not just sure we are gonna win, Im HIV positive.
Kobe going for the record tonight, no doubt. Not sure if he'll get it, but he'll definitely be shooting for it, no pun intended.
As always.....FTL.
Danny Green is already in foul trouble
Paul Garcia PS @PaulGarciaPS
Pop on Kawhi's injury: "Nothing's broken...but catching and dribbling are pretty much impossible for him right now."
Lakers are shorthanded?
DGAF. Destroy them.
What's the over/under on Kobe shot attempts? 50?
