Recent relevance mostly. I always had it close between the two ... when Kobe was clearly better 2008-2012 I gave Kobe the edge. Duncan surged back ahead with strong performances the past two seasons and back to back finals. Story is still not over but slight lead to Tim.

I'm trying real hard not to cuss you and Killabron81 out. I can't argue with 6 > 5 but what I can say is this...99 is a ing asterisk and don't count. Kobe has always led or co-led (the Shaq yrs) his le teams. ..can't say the same for this SA got. Tammy plays an easy position. Kobe has to play SG, PG, and SF. If Tammy rings 6 as a 3rd / 4th option then it's Kobe 5 TOSB 5..

eh, led the team in playoff minutes. was 2nd in scoring to Parker, who was hardly a more impactful playoff performer...
