We don't really guard anyone. If your a no-name scrub your going to get 15 on the pansies all day long. Why take Danny out and leave Belli in? Why rush that shot Manu?
Grats you've lost to the worst teams in the division and don't shoot well to boot.

Spurs were the 2nd ranked D in the NBA coming into this game..

Tonight just showed how terrible the backup perimeter defenders are when you take out Kawhi and Green(since Pop had him on Kobe all game)..Belinelli, Joseph and Anderson got destroyed by Lakers scrubs like Nick Young and Rin..

Just about everything had to go right for the Lakers to win this game and it did. Fluke shots, Laker tip ins by the Spurs, lackluster effort most of the game on defense for SA. LA had four or five chuck shots that went in that were ridiculous. Very annoying to lose to a below average squad like the Lakers.

TP was at about 50% tonight. He was slightly better for the Spurs than Steve Nash was for the Lakers tonight.

It's frustrating to see this years team struggle so much right now with some bad teams, but last year the take on the Spurs from November to January was that they could not beat the good teams in the WC. They got rolling with that 20 game winning streak after Leonard got back in January and things just took off from there.

Let's just get everyone back and healthy - last years team that immasculated the Miami Heat has not been on the floor yet this season. That will hopefully come next month. Let's not discount the absense of Mills and Splitter for basically the entire season so far. Those are very important guys for us. Tiago provides a very good screen guy and passer that really gets the offense going. He also is the second defensive pressence in the paint along with TD. Patty Mills will help eliminate some of the open looks we are seeing right now from guys like Lin and Young and also supply tough baskets late in the shot clock. Kawhi not playing tonight was an absolute killer. Danny Green can't do everything regarding the perimeter on the ball pressure. A healthy Tony Parker could have helped to a lesser entent on the long jumpers that went in tonight - TP looked really out of it tonight.
