We lacked defensive rebounding.
At the end of the day, this group gave a really good effort. Played hard, albeit sloppy and full of mistakes, but even with all of those, we still kept it respectable and made Portland play their starters til the very end. We just couldn't stop them defensively.
We lacked defensive rebounding.
no idea... but last season he hurt his hand too, the previous season was the knee, IIRC...
welp at least Fathead played well tonight. He might be seeing a lot more PT soon esp if Leonard is seriously hurt.
True. He's been awful this season. Duncan's had to play multiple 40+ minute games because Baynes peaked and doesn't help the team in any shape.
gtfo got
The Memphis game is winnable, honestly. We match up well with them. Don't know why some people have that as an automatic L
I'm betting he broke it unfortunately. He was in a good amount of pain.
Everyone gave great effort except for a couple of dip s on the bench
Baynes is the 4th big, tbh.... he plays a lot because of vajeje Tiago, tbh
The guy doesn't belong on the court - ever. End of.
They're gonna be far more motivated to win it than the Spurs.
This resting is going to cost us healthy players, then you're going to have all the young guys injured and have to ride the old guys into the ground.
Not sure about Pop taking this resting strategy this far. Curious what you guys think? I think if you're healthy, you play, but play limited minutes if Pop wants to rest certain players.
It's in SA though. We'll win.
they were last game too... the Spurs need to get healthy and hopefully Kawhi is ok... I can't think he broke anything, since he even made a shot with that hand...
lol, it's an automatic win
What happened to Kawhi tbh? I walked away from the game at that point
I think not resting is not an option. You can't control injuries, but you can control your older guys being fresh when it matters...
I wonder if Boylen gets the pink slip at the end of the season as well to follow his lover out the door. We have the along with Messina da GAWD and Udoka; don't need the around anymore
overall good game until that Kawhi injury. damn hope it's nothing too serious. figures Portland would play their starters a ton of minutes.
Looks like he aggravated that hand injury. hopefully it's not broken but looked bad tbh.
i think he should rest manu and timmy whenever he sees fit, but he needs to stop it with tiago and tony, or at least don't rest manu and timmy if he needs to rest tony and tiago.
look like a slap in his hand... he kept shaking it, made a floater with it, kept holding it, and eventually went to the locker room with sevening...
If Leonard is healthy we'll see, but unfortunately it really seems like he broke it; the fact he immediately went to the locker room rather than wait til the end is discouraging.
