Not true at all. Cowboys have sucked major for 20 something years and the fans still tune in. Lakers fans are just mostly trash though. The definition of fairweather, tbh.
A lot of Lakers fans are reasonable outside of the forums, but there are just people there who are either total suckers or have already jumped the bandwagon to the Clippers.
You see, this is the difference between the Spurs and the Lakers. For the Lakers, the first priority is attracting viewers and making money, and winning is an epiphenomenon of those. For the Spurs, the first priority is winning and playing the best basketball they can possibly play, and the money and recognition naturally follow from that.
Read online they're interested in trading for Greg Monroe, but the Pistons are asking for a 1st rounder and the Lakers don't want to trade their 2016 pick
Rondo was also mentioned, but Boston's asking price is too high for the Lakers.
