Amare's actually having a really solid season and looks rejuvenated, offensively, tbh..
He would be a nice 3rd/4th big off the bench for a team that needs an offensive scoring big man..wouldn't fit with the Spurs, though, for obvious reasons..
I'm pretty sure the OP hasn't seem Amare play in about 5 years. Dude is done. And he has still never heard of this concept called "defense."

He's playing well this year. Perhaps it is you
Not happening.
Remember when the Knicks gave Amar'e $100 Mil?![]()
WE NEED DAMON STOUDAMIRE!!!
Nope. Still pretty sure he hasn't made a timely rotation this year. Besides, putting up big offensive numbers on a woeful losing team has never been an indicator of quality. Don't be fooled.
well damn idk how the numbers would work tho
without tiago, even tho hes up and down id rather have tiago at this point
do we really want amare? when was the last time this dude did anything of note on a basketball court?
Clippersthey're always interested if you were a somebody...
Clipper Nation![]()
If he can had for the vet minimum for the rest of the season I would take a look. 10 mins a game would be a maximum for him to play.
Granger
Butler
He came onto the court during the hip check. That helped SA to the ring.
If the Spurs brought him aboard, I think a lot of you would be surprised how well he'd fit in. Spurs move the ball and he did well on a team that could get him the ball at the right time. He could be just a "injured DNP" on someone's roster all year, but you never know. Regardless, he doesn't want to be in SA.
Knicks fans have been praising him lately as the one guy on the team who still plays with heart.
enrique plays with heart.
I see that Larry Sanders may be available soon after the Bucks buy him out. I know he has his personal demons, but the guy is very good defensive big. I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him with a low risk contract. I think he would tow the line with this team and for Pop. If he causes any waves, we just kick his ass to the curb. I think the reward would definitely be worth the risk.
This ^^^ on another note so many free agents give the Spurs way lip service but when it comes time to choose a destination they prefer to put high profile visability and stats over sacrificing for les. The Spurs do better with low ego happy to be in the league type FA's like Verde. We never seem to get the stars because they have too much ego invested in themselves. Take Amare who just robbed the Knicks blind you would think managed minutes and championship opportunity would outweigh the Cuban circus but it doesn't. As for Sanders a shot blocking big would be great for the Spurs to fend off penetrating pgs.
Splitter better d
what's old bump threads, drukcs?
Seems like he's trying to drown out the TP criticism.
