Cojo is largely terrible, tbh
Wow what a bunch of re s. 10 Seconds to go and they want to rush the shot. Nearly gave Blazers and extra possesion there.
Cojo is largely terrible, tbh
Beli has been ass too, tbh
I forgot about him. lol getting a championship tattoo on your arm even though you barely played
Leonard's got a torn ligament in his hand, so that one is at least legit.
Told you they can't handle stretch 4s.
Spurs might actually have to make a trade this season. Too many dead weights on the roster; Beli, Errors, Daye, and maybe even CoJo could be moved for a decent piece.
Patty will be back soon. Relax.
Hopefully when Patty gets back, we can go back to
Parker/Green/Kiwi/ ter/Jim with MVP/Manu/Ugh/Diaw/Baynes off the bench.
That's what makes CoJo expendable tbh. All those expiring contracts plus CoJo has played well all things considered.
The assists are terrible, tbh...
Cojo 4, Manu 4, Boris 3, Beli 1... that's it. Gotta move the ball more...
Need more pick setting. Tiago and Baynes produce a lot of points/assists from that. But I guess Pop values playing pieces of that like to air mail threes and suck on the court.
They'll stand pat. It's what they do. And if they do "make a move," it'll be for some veteran retread. As savvy as the FO has been over the last 15 years, they've been pretty terrible at countering the moves of competing contenders following a le. '04: the Lakers reloaded with Payton and Malone. Pistons get Sheed mid-season. What we do? Turkoglu and Ron Mercer. '08: Celtics stack up with Garnett and Ray Allen. Lakers heist Gasol. Spurs? Kurt Thomas![]()
We've missed a lot of good looks too though.
who's the contender they need to "counter" this year though?
A ty vet might be enough to repeat this season. No blockbuster trades seem to be on the horizon and the rest of the teams in the Spurs' way are worse than last year's compe ion overall. A 8th/9th man who can hit freebies welcome and not up everywhere would be welcome.
it's the offense... we're sucking and turning it over, they get everything in transition
Dallas, Memphis (although I don't really fear them, but Carter does make them a better team, if only slightly), Houston. And considering how Golden State and OKC (when healthy) are playing, it doesn't hurt to get better, especially when our traditional core of Parker, Duncan, and Ginobili is injury prone/old. I'd like to see us get deeper at 3, since everything seems to go to when Leonard isn't on the floor. SloMo ain't ready yet.
1000 year old Duncan having to do everything.![]()
who would you get that would help you against those teams though? All we have are near min-contracts. Even then, if the Spurs are healthy, I don't think there's mins for anybody else, tbh
Popo plays Daye for a minute, thinking he's finally an NBA player, then takes him back out when he realizes he still isn't
