Spurs aren't making the playoffs this season, and these choke games will haunt them.
    Yep...

I know the team will play better when they get healthy. That's a given. But there are other factors at play that are going against us that need to be cleaned up and should be cleaned up with the roster as is. And we have to move up in the standings. We need to get at least a 4 seed.

I get what you're saying man. But we need to climb up in the standings right quick. The lowest seed to win a Championship were the '95 rockets at sixth. You know how rare that is? And that was with a in his prime olajuwon.
The Spurs are also one of the top road teams in the league. When they're healthy and clicking, nobody can stop them with or without HCA. The only team that is capable of stopping them is OKC who isn't even in playoff contention right now. it may be rare, but the Spurs are the most unique team in NBA history. They could easily pull it off as a low seed. Just need to get healthy. I feel like if they can get healthy, they can go on a huge winning streak which would move them back into the top 4 at most in the West. Still a long season to go. It's not April yet.

Yeah it is, what it is. I'm worried how these long games will affect our older players in the long run, though. It's just frustrating how they make things harder on themselves.

We said the same things last season and the season before early on. It's just how the Spurs are. Just have to hope we are healthy and playing our best ball in April.

Duncan seems to be doing fine. Manu looks done but he desperately needs Patty and TP back so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

What is almost impossible to believe is that the Spurs had Portland in the penalty with 6 minutes to play in the 4th and Popovich didn't have them driving to the basket to get free throws.

I actually felt really bad for Manu on that last turnover. He looked completely dejected and defeated.

With how we've been shooting free throws, I can't blame him.

Spurs would have probably choked on Free Throws anyways.

Tim Duncan also played 43+ minutes in back-to-back games for the first time since 2004

Spurs better bring their pixie dust to Dallas because they'll be without the services of Duncan and Ginobili.

2nd oldest player in the NBA still forced to carry the team. Meanwhile, TP sits out with a boo boo
