Anyway to find this stat for Manu's ??
I am sure it has gotten worse now since that if that is not from tonight? Kobe is the most un clutch guy who is known to be clutch and his % is horrible late in games! Fact. A common misconception is that this guy makes clutch buckets at the end of games. That might have been true earlier in his career but the last 10 years NO, he misses a TON.
^ Truth bomb.this , LkrFan!
Yea it's definitely worsened since then. And he's missed very one this year.

might be a bit dated though

Pretty solid overall FG% for crunch time. I've never had an issue with Manu's offense in the clutch. It's the TOs and bonehead fouls he commits that drive me up the wall.
he used to be a lot better, tbh... even if he didn't take the shot, creating shots for other guys (ie: remember that timmy 3 against Phoenix?). He's old now, it is what it is.

Missed the game, summary?
Assuming Gravano missed a game winner, based on the picture above..

3-11 on playoff game tying/winners in the final 10 seconds.
slightly better than Kobe... amazing he only took 11 shots in those cir stances, tbh... I would've bet he took more than that.
That is the norm for him in crunch time, like I said the common misconception of Kobe is that he is clutch.
3-11 is respectable in that scenario. And as you said, Manu was often more dangerous with his playmaking in those situations.
Enrique is 0-1

Tony just doesn't get the ball in those situations... because you know he's gonna chuck it so it's easier to defend...
I understand people frustrated with current Gino, tbh... but we've been putting the ball in his hands to close games for the past 11, 12 years... we've done pretty damn well, IMO
Difference is he wasn't the primary ballhandler in crunch time and would get the ball in his spots rather than have to run the offense.
On that point, I agree with you that TP nursing his pussy has totally ed this team's late game execution, since we have no true point guard to reliably do as something as simple as bring the ball up into the half court.
kobe...
Even though it would benefit my team for the Lakers to win tonight, I don't care. I enjoy watching kobe fail more than I don't like the Thunder winning.![]()
Not really, we always gave Gino the ball and run the clock down... but obviously, having Tony or Cojo on the floor as a decoy is a big difference... Tony that can make a play after a pass and that's huge...
Plus, both Manu and Tim are older, it's not what it used to be... Manu is having a lot of trouble finishing at the rim this season, which can only be father time... but he's still generally useful out there...
Can't. He's made a HOF career out of doing that.![]()
