Manu was a big part of 5.
Who gives a ?
Ironically, Manu has cost us 1 championship, but without him, we don't win those other 3... so take it for what it is.
Gonna be a sad day when he retires. Seems like it was yesterday I was watching his Euroleague games online and telling everyone about Euro Carter coming over.
Ya, lets pretend green can create for himself in crunch time without manu feeding him the open three
Why? Because due to injuries to other players, he's being asked to do things he's no longer capable of doing consistently. 2012-2013 Manu may have cost us a Championship but he was right there in 2013-2014 to help us win #5. He's no longer what he once was but he's still a Champion and capable of being a difference maker when put in the right situation. Once this team gets healthy and balanced, all will be right again. Chip 6 coming.
You could say he's cost us 2 championships, if you consider 2006.
But I agree that he's been more good than bad in his time on the spurs and you can't ignore his contributions in '14, '05, '07 etc.
He's definitely in decline, but he's been one of the most entertaining and influential players of the past decade.
Why would I hate a Spurs player? I root for my team.
You guys are such ing gots. He just played 70 minutes. What the do you expect?
Parker deserves more blame for '06 than Manu. His entire series against Dallas was underwhelming. And you can't throw Manu under the bus for 2013 without mentioning TP and his horrendous shooting performance in games 6 and 7.
Someone put up video of game 5 of the 2014 finals.
That game alone should give Manu the right to play again this year and see what happens. He was awesome and helped us close that series out.
The injuries in the backcourt are killing us right now. Manu cannot play these heavy minutes anymore and be effective. That's just a fact. He has to be a key bench guy playing 20-22 minutes a night.
No Patty Mills and limited Leonard, Splitter, and Parker has probably cost us 6-7 wins already.
he's still godd for 3-4 years
It's amazing how many people are re ed enough to actually expect him to be a primary playmaker at 40 years old.
No one is expecting that, everyone knows he's . Quit being re ed
That's what's he's had to be and what he's failed at several times this season, dip . Mainly bc Enrique is taking weeks off with a sore asscheek.
Great. Now the short bus is talking about someone having too many injuries![]()
A 37 year shooting guard should never be expected to run the team's offense.
Meanwhile, our 32 year old "all-star" point is sitting out every night sulking on the bench. Stockton at age 32 played 82 games, 35 minutes every night averaging 15/12 while playing physical defense. Wish we had a pointguard half as durable or reliable as him.

Pot calling the kettle with all the short bus references. You have been driving that bus since you joined this site. Probably the most intellectually challenged posted here.
his asscheek is really sore though, he needs rest![]()
Who are you?
ing lame, but it wasn't until this picture that I got the Evita reference. lol
Hate the guy all you want but he is out there giving it his all. The Spurs do not have one guy who can create their own shot or create for others out there except Manu or Duncan right now. Without TP, Kawhi, Patty, we have no one. Danny Green doesn't get those looks without Manu or Duncan creating. He missed his transition 3's. Jesus, without Manu we lose both games well before the 3 OT's. If you bench/retire Manu, who creates?? You are asking too much of the guy at this stage in his career. He isn't Kobe.
Parker has run himself into the ground with all the international play, like Manu.
But Pop babies these guys way too much.
