Began with ridiculous individual feats such as 81, 62 in 3 qtrs, then turned in an MVP year and a subsequent NBA le in his career best Finals performance against a top 5 defense. Passed the torch to a certain spaniard the next year. Where does this epic history-channel worthy 3-year run, iyo? I'm thinking just below LeBron 2011-14, Shaq 1999-02, Deeks 90-93 and Cuckan 2001-04.

Big knock against this "run," is that he blew a 3-1 lead to the Suns. And yes, as I've detailed before, he had plenty of help to win that series.

He also didn't win until he was relegated back down to role player status where he belongs.

Please, he took the whole kit & attendant kaboodle out of the darkness up in the great Northwest. And this time, unless the previous time when some king cop drew first blood, Kobe drew first blood. , Ambchang had to stand in the back because his fat ass woulda taken up the whole picture. They were damn lucky Kobe left any of 'em alive.

Going 0-2 against Steve Nash in back-to-back years is pretty embarrassing.

As closed quarters as you guys have been over the years it was humiliating to let a woman, a white woman no less take your company to the rocks.

    You've no room.

Katie Faber, a white woman, took your company to the rocks. It took you and yours 5 years to get your heads straight.

Duncan got his head (and ) straight the very next year.

    "We'll do it this time."
