According to Eric Nahlin of IT, Kyler's father is no fan of Sumlin. Mr. Murray has reached out to Watson at Texas. He also reached to Malik to talk to Kyler.
Fun fact...Strong was a grad assistant at A&M in 1985 when Mr. Murray was playing.

Not saying the Kyler and Kevin Murray rumors are false but they're quite hard to believe until Kyler himself suggests that he'll visit Texas or rethink his process. That would put the wheels in motion to him choosing another school and until then it's hard to think he's anything but aggie.
Land Kyler, then Lodge could come.

More decommits or A&M targets committing to Texas wouldn't surprise me at all. We haven't had DC for three weeks. Malik is such a big deal because it's one of the first big recruits to choose the sips over us in a long time. It's very telling of how recruiting has gone for both programs over the last few years. That being said, Kyler is not going to Texas, period.
I don't think we are out of it with Mack yet. Sheffield should still be ours. Unless Sumlin royally s up his DC hire, of course.

Inside Texas also mentioned the one big roadblock is the recent commitment of WR Christian Kirk and the fact that he's an early enrollee. If Murray does decide to de-commit, he wants Kirk to have the opportunity to look around. I'm assuming that's why all of the rumors suggest this would go down pretty quickly if it happens. The report also mentioned Texas has been pushing the Malik/Mack/Murray angle hard to all parties.
lol it's over with Mack. And Kyler may not go to Texas, but you can't say it with certainty. No one thought Malik was going to Texas
Well, keep in mind this specific report comes from Nahlin at IT.
He was the only guy who knew 100% Malik was picking Texas because Malik called him to give him the news on Thursday night.
Word got out and Nahlin was asked to take down the thread. He says "just know Murray is in play"
Aaaannnnd Inside Texas received a request to take that thread down.

Mack said A&M was out, so I firmly believe they're still in it. You can't believe anything these kids say. I think they're running fourth, though.
