Mack does have a good chance at ending up at Texas, and Murray is far from a lock to stick with A&M.

I always love when people point these things out. You don't think I could find threads about every highly rated Aggie recruit that Texas targeted with people saying they didn't want him after he became an "aggy"? Or that he's "scared of Charlie's discipline"?
I'm sure you can but I seriously have never seen the father from a recruit telling a fan base to stfu and show more respect. Yes, I'm talking about Mack's dad after a 15+page of bashing the kid on 247. That tells a lot.

Manziel's dad got pissed some Aggie fan on TexAgs and even threatened to fight some guy from there. Just because his dad replied doesn't make it worse somehow. Any recruits parent could go on and reply to any thread with their son getting bashed at any time... doesn't make it any worse.

Charlie Strong has been at UT for one season.
Claiming he can turn HS football players into better men AND football players has not exactly been tested.
Lighten up. ATM has still out recruited us.
And they have gotten worse each season.
Why? It makes more sense to act like girl that got left on the wall and question the character of an 18 year old kid over one tweet.
And still had a better record, while in the SEC West, than the horns this year.

Yes A&M has been beating Texas in recruiting, but recruits are seeing that the top DCs out there don't want to hitch the wagon to the Sumlin train and they are seeing that the last few classes for A&M full of 4 and 5 stars is not yielding results on the field.
In summary...
I just find it funny. It's all good though. Have to eventually lose out on a big recruit, I guess. Sumlin has spoiled us over the last couple of years.
We'll see what happens. I think everyone was surprised. One thing is for sure, Strong has shown he's got the chops to recruit in Texas.
Should be a lot of interesting battles for the state's best over the next few seasons.
