After losing to the Blazers last year, I wouldn't take anybody lightly. It's setting yourself up for disappointment.
They played no defense last year though. This year they do and no have three of the top 11 leaders in steals on the team and constant post defense (Aldridge would not bave gone off with this frontcourt).
Harden didn't show up in the playoffs. Gotta wait and see.
The biggest issue address of the Blazers series was addressed. Josh Smith can give it a go against LMA

I don't see how anyone can dislike this move for the Rockets tbh. They didn't give any of their players to get him and they didn't have to break the bank to get him either. If it doesn't work out they can cut him. Not really a high risk move.

If "anywhere" is 12 wins after the 82 I'd be like tickled pink.
Josh needs to stick to playing/shooting in the post. He is a good passer and rebounder, hopefully he gets integrated and play good team defense.
