Only thing about Porkins is that unjustified scowl he has like he's a beast.

OKC goes as far as Westbrook takes them.

Dreading when he checks back in.

    Thunder

    Scared of Splitter

Refs aren't bailing you out = immediately losing the lead

Tony knows ball movement is the key. Win or lose today, the Spurs have to get the ball moving again if they ever want to make progress this season, and your shooters hustle back and get rewarded with trust. Danny just missed, but Parker went right back to him.

He started the game 5-15 for 15 points.

Westbrook doesn't scare me nearly as much as the refs do.

You guys who are getting so worked up over this game and a potential loss crack me up. Have you not learned anything over the past few years? It's an afternoon game, its the regular season, two major stars on both teams aren't playing and you expect to learn something from the result.

Win or lose, we'll learn nothing from this game. What we know for sure is that the Spurs know how to beat the Thunder in a 7 game series. Any intimidation factor and psychological hangover from 2012 is gone. They don't have Harden anymore, Sefolosha and Fisher are gone and the F'n wicked witch is dead. We own the latest scoreboard against the Thunder when it counts and when we are healthy. Don't sweat this game so much. If we lose, we lose. Once everyone is healthy, the Spurs will do what it takes to improve their playoff seeding. Will it be # 1? Probably not, but who knows.

When the real season starts, I expect the Spurs to cruise to Chip # 6. In the meantime, let Westchimp do what he does, let Perkins make all the faces he wants. In the 4th quarter, Westchimp will probably be tired and take some horrendous shot or make a terrible decision down the stretch. If he plays smart, maybe they win. I think the Spurs will find a way to pull out the victory but it won't be the end of the world if they lose. Just a speed bump.

Carry on. So says the Oracle Of Smugness.
    SpursTalk will be SpursTalk. .

We see these meltdowns every season.
