    As did your Neal.
I do not defend Neal. Yet, you will defend Kirby with your last breath.

Yeah, we're not terribly bothered by that. He could have easily won gold in 2000, 2008, and 2012, but he simply chose not to participate. How is that supposed to be devastating?
Right? Dude could have had multiple gold medals if he wanted. This has always been a lakerfan diversionary tactic to deflect from the fact kobe had just gone full cancer a month earlier in the Finals.

any season when the questions are:

    - Will the Spurs repeat?
    - Will the Lakers miss the playoffs?

    ...is a great season

Tim Duncan and Anthony Davis are performing beyond their age projections.
San Antonio Spurs veteran Tim Duncan and up-and-coming New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis, whose teams meet Friday night in New Orleans, are at very different points in their NBA careers, but they have something in common: Both have defied their age with their performances so far this season.

Not The Years, But The Miles

Kobe Bryant's mind is willing, but he's having difficulty getting his body to respond to the rigors of the NBA.

No. Tony has a strained hamstring, says so in the report. Kobe's was "rest".

You should really lay that king over, Dale, you're hemmed in.

His Olympic stain is something we won't ever let you farmers forget. Neal with it son.
Another Spur won the gold. It's all good. How'd Kobe do? Oh that's right, he made Chauncey Billups a MVP and sent Gary and Shaq to Miami to win another ring.

Tim is a great player, but a huge part of that greatness is the consistency of the Spurs organization. He never had to go through a period without Pop or a great nucleus around him. This is not me defending Kobe as I can give 2 s about that guy, this is just a very accurate criticism of him. Also, his inability to ever repeat has really put a dent on his legacy, its crucial he repeats this year and cements himself as one of the top 3 GOAT or else he'll always be that guy that won 1 here and there
