It'd serve the piss pot chicken right.
This team defied logic last year returning to the Finals and winning it all but now they are what many have predicted for years,,,,old and slow. When Leonard is your best player,,,,you are in trouble. Leonard isn't even a top 25 player in the league. Popo will now run for the hills with Duncan and leave the barren wasteland to the next guy. Get ready for a lonnnnng season of disappointment,,,,
It'd serve the piss pot chicken right.
Far from done. They're competing with some of the top teams in the league despite being gutted by injuries.
If they can get healthy, I like their chances, even at the 8th seed position.
But getting healthy is a big IF at this point.
^Only pussies & assholes play the injury card.
Until you pay that ticket, I'm not conversing with you. Act like somebody!
Realism does not equate cliff diving,,,,are you being a realist or a cliff diver when you call CP3 a choke artist and he's on your team?
That won't deter me, you yellow bas , you.
I fought for this country, unfortunately not overseas because of a slight back ailment, but, in every small town and large metropolis in this great nation.
CHARGE!!!
Competing with the top teams?,,,,like losing to Kobrick and the Lakers at home? C'mon, Mid,,this team is in big trouble,,,
Realism is pointing out that a team is and that a choker is a choker.
Cliff-diving is claiming that a championship team that is probably repeating this year is "done" because of a few December losses.
Clips,,,if you think this team is repeating this year something is seriously wrong with your basketball knowledge,,,
And how close was I on that, Hairy?,,,Mavs took us to 7 games. We pulled it out by the skin of our teeth,,,
"An injury would be welcome here."
Cubby on Kawhi Leonard
Don't try to his ignore his value, Cub. You called him. You also called Splitter, who we been without for nearly half the year.
Sure, it's acceptable to hope for injury.
It's not acceptable to play the injury card. Only pussies & assholes do that.
Nobody in the West wants to see the Spurs in a playoff series. Despite the regular season flukes, I still don't see a single team that can beat the Spurs when it counts except for maybe OKC.
We were without Leonard. Without him, any team with a scoring small forward goes off on us (Nick Young). The Lakers have also proven to be compe ive at times, beating teams like Atlanta, Golden State, and Houston.
I can understand cliff jumping because you don't believe we can get healthy, but the Spurs aren't playing badly. They're way undermanned right now. Pop also needs to get over his love affair with Crapinelli.
You cant play the injury card when we've lost to a depleted and hole Laker team and an OKC team without Durant and both at home.
You slanty-eyed SOB, you.
Hemi, you can't do itPERIOD
Pay your ticket & I'll converse with you.
Even if the Spurs get the 8th seed, they could plausibly catch fire and win the championship. They don't give a about playing on the road. This is one of the most battle-tested teams in history, having played through two straight Finals, including the narrowest defeat in history. After the 2013 Finals, nothing can faze them (as it apparently does to you, because you're so mentally weak that you can't support a team that might not win a second consecutive championship...good luck with facing any other challenges in life, got). This ain't .
You in' slope, you!!!
Why not?
Sans Leonard, our only choices at the Small Forward are a rookie and that Eyetalian hump who's never played defense in his life.
