10-0.
9-1. @ Memphis and NOH on a B2B is the one I'd worry about most. Finally some rest in between games. Only 10 games in 20 days and a 9 day home stand. Parker and Leonard could be back towards the end of that stretch.
7-3 (but hope for better, of course)
I had Bill Miller's BBQ yesterday in San Anton (not as good as it used to be, IMO)... Cheddar's is Texas only too IIRC...
Food was really good, IMO
I didn't know Cheddar's is only in Texas.
If you are at Cheddar's at 1604 and I-10, you are also close to some really good San Antonio restaurants. A new Silo's just opened up about 5 miles from there on I-10 and it is dynamite. Or Paesano's. Or Piatti's. Or Perry's. Or Wildfish down on 1604. All pretty close to the Cheddar's at 10 and 1604. If you liked their food though...fair enough. Never been there myself.
I'm back at the RGV... Thanks for the recommendations though![]()
Wouldn't that be nice?!
MVPatty: 13-0 (a couple will be close due to rest)
With 4 games in 6 nights Pop will be resting a lot of players so I don't think our record during that stretch will be as good as some people think but we'll probably still rise up to the 6th seed by the end of those games.
MVPatty is back. 10-0 sounds about right....
I say they go 8-2. I think Patty's return and win over Rockets broke the spell. Also, all their home games they should win.
We lost many close games vs. top teams without our big guns in Parker and Kawhi. I say we build up leads so Evita cannot throw the games in clutch time
7-3 at worse imo
that. I'll be there. SA hasn't lost in DC in a while.
Then fill up on mariachis, The Texas border has the best Norteno food IMO.
Don't like Mexican food, tbh
So 1-1 on the first two which is not that bad... we should get 3 W next:
Jan 3 Wash
Jan 6 Det
Jan 9 Pho
3 days rest between each game... hopefully we will have everybody except Kawhi
I expected a loss at Memphis. But of the 14 games the Spurs have in January, I expect them to only drop 2. Go back and look at the games. Pop experimented a lot with the lineups last month. He always does in December. It just so happen this December, the Spurs had the ty schedule I have even witness for a month, plus a string of injuries to key players.
Being 20-14 is not that bad considering.
Depending on injuries evolution, @Wash and Port could be tricky tbh
I agree on the 20-14 is not that bad. At this point only health matters... home court, this a luxury we cannot afford to chase right now. Tim and Manu are exhausted, now that Splitter, Parker, Patty are back time for them to carry a bit the load and limit Tim and Manu's minutes so that everybody can be as freash as possible after ASG break.
The Spurs legitimately could and almost had better win the next ten straight, especially if Parker gets off his rear end and gets back on the court. Hopefully Kawhi isn't done for the year.
Craig Sager II @CraigSagerJr
Spurs at Clippers..Feb 19.... That'd be a pretty solid Sr return.
