They've won the lottery like 5 years in a row....I don't think they're "cursed".
This previous Summer, they were supposedly the center of the sports universe with the new superteam in the Cavs and Johnny Manziel coming to the Browns. As of today, it looks like its over with Manziel and Lebron looks cooked and looking for a way out.
I was reading on Cavs forums and most fans keep saying,"Why are we so cursed?" or "Of course, whenever someone comes to Cleveland, they suck, but in Miami he's one of the GOAT's."
WTF is up with this town?

But my point is not like they are irrelevant cursed like the Bobcats, its more of the mantra that the fan base has that anything great that falls on their lap falls apart. If they get Lebron he's , if they get the #1 pick they trade him for Love

And their franchises have mostly been poorly-run for that entire time. The Indians of the '90s were the only really legit contenders, but baseball's playoffs are the biggest crapshoot in sports.
Longer than that. It was '64. I was 11. This was before the radio stations were owned by the teams so everything was above board and not near as cozy. It was an adversarial relationship between teams & Media then.
Similar issues that the Heat faced in year 1. Not an issue.

Cleveland (ownership) let Media bum rush them to the rocks over Manziel. Media set Manziel up from the get go. Conspired with the NFL player's association (Browns rank & file as well) to target Manziel. He never stood a in' chance.
Ever since Dale sold out his city and community, they've never recovered. Now he trolls forums, hoping to assuage his guilt or stimulate his penis with sociopathic behavior, but his transgressions remain.
