Not only is his defensive presence missed, but the alternative has been Bonner/Ayres , an inconsistent Baynes and a lazy-ass version of Diaw..

Pop's lineup tonight made zero sense tbh even if you factor in the b2b. No Z-Bo but you start big. Two good Cs in Gasol/Koufos and Errors gets the majority of the backup big mins?

Ayres got killed by Koufos and Gasol, can't blame him against guys that big. It's on Pop for putting him in that position. Ridiculous when there are 7 footers on the bench.

For some reason Pop thinks its better to play Ayers and allow Gasol/Koufos to easily score 14 points in a few minutes
Didn't like starting Manu next to CoJo in the 2nd half either. Playing Joseph alongside Gino basically makes him useless since the kid won't fart without deferring to Manu first tbh.
Agreed. Although I thought Pop was trying to figure out if he should mail it in early or not. The fact that the game was close throughout kinda ed that up.
