    IF they get there I am rooting for the Bulls full force, can't ever root for the Mavs sorry. Any Spurs fan should hate the Mavs beyond belief as that is their main rival.

    Mavs are the 20th ranked defense in the NBA, tbh..I haven't looked it up, but I doubt you'll find any le teams that were so awful on D..

    In 2006, Miami was ranked #17 & Dallas was ranked #12.

    Honestly if its a team from the West I would take Dallas or Portland over anyone else. I dispose Clippers, OKC, Memphis and Houston. Even Portland is a bit of a stretch. I dunno Dirk is amazing and is like Duncan, does not get the love he deserves...so sure if the Spurs don't win Dallas can have it...

    At the beginning of the season I thought Dallas & San Antonio would meet in the WCF. I think they're built for the post-season and don't mind rooting for Dirk & Co. one bit should they make it out of the West. I respect the heck out of Dirk as a player and a person. They've retooled on the fly. Cuban has grown up a lot in the last decade, is a great owner, and love hearing his entrepreneurial takes. I don't think anyone from the East deserves to ring this year, and would hate to see Houston or the Clippers make it.
