While I acknowledge what happened in Paris is sad I cant say that I feel sorry for the journalists per se. Satire in this case is nothing but a cover for bad behavior, wickedness, and horrible discrimination in the name of being funny. Well I'm not a muslim and I dont find all those disrespectful drawings of these people prophet to be funny either.
They are picking on Muslims with hatred plain and simple...and i can prove it...why dont that draw satire showing Jews being slaughtered, why dont they draw Satire of Africans being whipped and in chains....the reason they dont do it is because they know their will be a western backlash....but yet they're perfectly ok drawing offensive pics of the muslim prophet as being gay or shown as a dog...
There is no such thing as complete freedom of speech...for example you cant threaten the POTUS without going to jail.....even for Christians the bible says you cannot blaspheme against god and be forgiven....so again freeness of speech has its limits....yell bomb in a crowded theater and then try to claim freedom of speech....
There are consequences to offending religious fanatics....you can say it just be prepared to have these people come after you...really was drawing this disrespectful cartoon worth getting their heads blown off with an assualt rifle....these guys literally blew their heads off close range with high powered mags....i dont find that so funny...they basically killed this company's entire leadership team in less than 5 min.
Call me crazy but that there's not enough free speech in the world to make me wanna have fanactics trying to kill me wherever i go....these people who were murdered were just plain stupid. There are billions of Muslims and that means there will literally never be a time as long as humans are on earth that you can offend their religion and get away with it. As a kid I always thought Sinbad, Aladdin's Lamp, The Thief of Baghdad (silent) were pretty cool. Arabs, camels, deserts....cool. Then as time went on and I got older I starting seeing what that world was really all about, then here comes 911. So I got curious about how anyone could kill themselves over some religious beliefs.
That was 22 books ago. Read everything I could find on Islam/Middle East/Mohammad/Muslims. I gotta tell ya, what a totally ed up existence. It all starts with the Koran, a blue print to terror. When we read/hear about extremists/radicals don't believe it, that is Islam. Sure there are moderates but real Islam is all about violence to those dreaded infidels. There are over 300 passages in the Koran talking about violence.
Notice how we never hold an Olympics over there? Notice how everything we ever read/hear about that region of the world is negative?
