Nice move for Phoenix, tbh, they now have 2 competent, athletic Cs..

Jeff Green is one of the most overrated players in the league, but still a huge upgrade for Memphis, tbh..

Great trades for both teams, but it doesn't really move the needle for either.

I wonder how Memphis is going to utilize Green, tbh..he's a mediocre shooter and not a playmaker..6th man?

No way imo. He'll slide right into that 3 spot now vacated by Prince. Starting Allen & Lee at the same time wouldn't work.

Great trades for both teams, but it doesn't really move the needle for either.
It's not a move that'll put the Suns into top-3, but this is a huge answer to their most glaring need, increases frontcourt depth, and for a team with an inordinate amount of close losses, shoring up their defense near the basket, improving rebounding, and getting a crafty finisher near the rim could provide the 4-5 points per game that takes Phoenix from 7-9 to 4-6.

They have shooting, guard play, midrange, perimeter, depth, but were young up front, prone to foul trouble, so Wright adds increased, more savvy Defense, and allows Plumlee to be more of the athletic hustle bum he truly is.

Spurs, Clippers, Rockets, they all have enough issues and the Suns the Suns can now compete with them until they get their together, if they get their together.

And for as overrated as Green can be, his all-around game, size, and versatility really complement this current Memphis squad. Adds quite a bit without losing much.

Trading Pierce and KG was an obvious play, but it was still bold to pull that and try to sell it to the fans.

Better than paying them 48.5 tho, tbh

Memphis gets better without Rudy Gay, they then trade for Rudy Gay's twin in Jeff Green.

    Ainge doesn't do things halfway.

I hope he is planning to roll some of these picks over until they are unprotected.
