We've found our SF. The starters finally have someone they can rely on to hit open threes, Austin Daye. Let that injury prone role player walk and max out Jimmy Buckets, tbh
Wait Kawhi fans are defending Kawhi? Next thing you know Parker fans will defend Parker, Manu fans will defend Manu etc. Can't have fans supporting their favorite players on the team they support...

who is Jimmy Buckets? If it's Butler, I read the Bulls will max him out...
Does he really wanna roll with Kirk Hinrich come playoff time for the rest of his career? He'd flourish here more than he already has
nothing for him on the Spurs... plus he's overrated as , IMO.
Na. He can actually live up to the "Lebron Stopper" name without letting him drop 30+ Pts three times in the finals.
He would be a decent bench guy in the West, tbh... not worth the max...
He's better than Paul George. Oh, and he can play 40MPG and stay relatively healthy. Unlike a certain someone who plays a career average of 28MPG...
I don't think Kawhi is worth the max either... but nobody plays 40mpg in the Spurs, so it's kinda a moot point anyways...
I'll be surprised if he doesn't stay in the East... much easier there.
Only on spurstalk would you find someone who would take Daye over Leonard.
Pop won't be there for all of Kawhi's career. He's going to have to step up and play man minutes at one point in the future.
Another thing I like about him is that he knows when it's his turn to score and when it's the scoring PG's turn. Unlike Leonard, who seems passive and hides in the shadows most of the time.
So better max Daye because the Spurs can't let Tony go after sign that toxic contract.
However, if we are looking a SG/SF who can hit 3's...that's guy isn't Jimmy. 31.7 3P% career (Leonard 36.9 %).
Cojo can't hit threes and he's doing alright here...
Ive seen the Bulls play, Butler doesn't require Kobe-esque ISO's to score, unlike Leonard
They said that but nobody can know after playoffs. The player's value increase/decrease after good/bad playoffs.
Jimmy has a great season scoring but he isn't really versatile offensively. It was too easy for opposing teams to neutralize him in every Chicago loss this season. Like yesterday against Wizards.
And what happens to their plan if Butler plays poorly in the playoffs or if the Bulls go out early in first round?
Bulls' owner is cheap and maybe isn't willing to go to tax if needed...That opens the door for plenty of teams.
Better than a Paul George injured? Better than a Kawhi injured? Sure. George/Leonard healthy >>>Butler.
I've never been high on Butler. I think he's overrated as , like I said earlier.
Well, it's not very surprising...
hater, Hoop, TGY are consummate trolls. They try to provoke, irritate people saying meaningless things.
Like "Max Danny, start Belli as SF, and let Kawhi walk" or "Daye is better than Leonard"
We can't take these guys seriously...It's just an annoying game

You do know that James scored some of those points when Kawhi was on the bench after getting some very soft/cheap fouls called against him throughout the series right? The same type of foul calls that Lebron hardly ever gets called against him. I'd like to see how much of those points James scored when Kawhi wasn't guarding him, and how much of those points were scored when the game was over.
He knows that, but he will never admit...Haters and trolls never do the right/reasonable/rational things.
Just for example, even when the first two games weren't best Leonard's games still...I'd like to see how much of those points James scored when Kawhi wasn't guarding him, and how much of those points were scored when the game was over.
And this season...

And dont forget that in those first 2 games refs treated Kawhi like , he couldnt even breath on Lemorrhoid because it was a hard foul, remember that one in game 2 where Kawhi was so fast that Lebum had to fake he was hit in the eye by KL?
Yes, Lebron/Durant have the superstar treatment, but fortunately for us, the last games of both series, refs were more impartial or at least less biased
According to TYG, Hoop, hater & Co...it was all "sleeve's fault".

I agree with you 100% man, I got love for all of them and wonder where the hate comes from? Kawhi especially since he is not in that international debate idiots seem to have for their fellow countrymen, they either hate Manu or Tony it seems and stay true to that. I never will get it? Some fans seem to just be a fan of a player and not a full team like me and you are. They knew it was over that is why, they could not stop the Spurs from shooting the lights out and beating the outta the media darling teams so they finally called it fairly and just gave upNo reason to cheat the Spurs last year, they were going to win regardless.
I still think Kawhi definitely got called for some very, very soft fouls. I'm not just talking about the first two games. Most of the calls were technically fouls, but very cheap ones that I hardly ever seen Lebron get called for. If the Spurs didn't have such an overall great team performance, then those fouls may have made a big difference to the series. At the end of games, Lebron has like 2 fouls, yet Kawhi had to sit for stretches because of some ticky tack bull . The refs did try and take him out of the series early, make no mistake about that. Spurs and Kawhi came back though with a monster team performance in the last 3 games of the series.

A pic of him shooting in practice. Pop says he'll graduate to 2 on 2 soon.
Great news! Kyle can teach him some stuff.![]()
