LOL Demps finally got rid of his mistake. If not for doc, Austin would end up overseas after the season.

This is going to be an uncomfortable situation for everyone involved. There's a reason even fast food restaurants prevent family from working together when one is in a position of authority.

A real GM like Brian Pauga, Troy Weaver, or Mike Zarren, and a real coach like David Fizdale, Mike Malone, or even a top Euro guy like Obradovic.

Balmer won't stand for it. He's a corporate guy and knows nepotism is ugly and causes dissent among the ranks. He doesn't want to lose what talent he has because Dad is playing Jr when he shouldn't be, or not playing him when he should be. The appearance of impropriety is a show stopper.

Hmm...good choices, but let me keep it real for a sec, as much as I hate on Doc Rivers I still think he's an above average coach. He has some strategy and seems to have some clever schemes both offensively and defensively (It's not like he's a Mike Woodson or Avery Johnson type coach), he gets his guys to play hard, and it seems like the Clips genuinely love playing for him. I think he's good for the Clippers as a coach, I don't know much about his exploits as GM though.

Regardless of what anybody thinks about Tom the coach, there's no argument regarding Tom the GM, he's really bad..predictable, too, I bet he signs Tayshaun Prince ASAP..

Wonder if Tom Rivers is gonna pull the racist card if Ballmer opposes...

No. The last thing Doc wants is a family squabble because Jr didn't see playing time. Doc would quietly love it if Steve nixes that for ethics reasons.

I dont know, Balmer is so full of Viagra and Booze that its hard to say, maybe he sees that as a good ¨family move¨ like the worst Windows versions, anyway he is loaded and the worst case scenario if he refuses is an Uncle Tom Rivers strike with Balmer being exposed as STERLING 2.0 ATTICA ATTICA! TBH!

Doc would probably be the catalyst for stopping the move, and he'd shield himself through ownership.

Rivers is so horrible. I knew he'd have a really rough rookie year, but never expected him to keep getting worse every year. I really thought this guy could be a Bobby Jackson instant offense off the bench kind of guy.

One has to be able to shoot to bring instant offense from the perimeter. The form on his shot is so horrible.

I think I saw a video somewhere and Doc was saying something about how he was more of a spectator and father than a coach with him or some bull like that.

Dude isn't NBA ready now either. Had he not come out as an overhyped freshman he would have been a second round talent playing in the NBDL. By coming out he made himself $7 million.
