Is he still shooting 33% from the FT?
After today's game, he's officially the least efficient player in the NBA among players that play 25 MPG or more(TS%)..
Is he still shooting 33% from the FT?
Kinda crazy how quickly PGs decline. From top 5 to borderline mediocre (rose, Rondo, D will, Parker, etc)
He sucks, but Dallas had to roll the dice, since they weren't gonna do anything with the corpse of Jameer Nelson.
I agree, but I thought his efficiency would at least improve a little by being added to the best offense in the NBA..
He just sucks that badly![]()
Guess, they expend the most energy of the players on the floor, so burn out faster.
This. Give up nothing for Rondo? Everytime...
They gave up depth. Tbh.
Nelson? Non-factor and still have Harris, Barea and even Felton. Crowder was not getting consistent minutes against Jefferson, Aminu. Only one missing is Wright, but he was only effective against bad teams.
Ronda will be useful when they play the Lakers and derek fisher. Oh....
Rondo will give Enrique problems in the playoffs defensively
He is a pretty ty player but he's their Richard Jefferson...Thinking they were getting a player to put them over the edge but ends up just sucking way too much for it to be considered normal. It's funny how they got and Rondo on their team now. First round exit.
Rockets most likely could have put something together for Rondo but didn't which is very telling.
Need a PG who can distribute AND shoot
Think we can some how pry away Dragic??
Worst thing about Rondo is its hurting Parsons effectiveness
Phoenix has to go on a major losing streak before the trade deadline. I wish McHale would play Canaan, he needs to progress.
Wright was the league leader in FG% before the trade, with a PER of nearly 30, and I don't think he could've achieved that if only being effective against bad teams, not to say that he was the only C outside Tyson on our squad. Rondo will only play better for us as he adapts though. People threw just as much criticism against Parsons when he was struggling earlier this season, putting up Kobe-like shooting performance, but now he's an essential member for us already.
We traded away the most efficient offensive player for the least efficient. There is more to the game but still shooting IMO is the most important thing in basketball.
He's always been a bad shooter though. That's not where his value lies. I haven't really watched much of him with Dallas but I've always thought a guy that can run a team/get teammates open looks like Rondo can is an asset.
No one is open though. They all know Rondo wants to pass.
