There's nobody that jumps out that's within our reach...we'll see, hopefully someone stands out at before the draft
Ya mean that over 900 yards 4.6 average in 2013 and this season where he was....obviously....dealing with injuries? He carried the ball how many times in 2014?
There's nobody that jumps out that's within our reach...we'll see, hopefully someone stands out at before the draft
Yes, the very same guy who couldn't keep a starting job over 33 y/o Fred Jackson, and who is horrible in short yardage situations. He's never been a RB who can handle a heavy workload in the NFL, and he's also fragile (thanks for making my point and reemphasizing why he shouldn't be resifned).
Most importantly, he sucks in blitz pickup. You would know all this if you did something other than reading boxscores and making value judgments off of them.![]()
Y'all can have Fitzpatrick back![]()
Rex went from the Jets to a slightly better version of the Jets.
I'm wondering if someone slips into the late first round, and that second first given in the Sammy trade becomes glaring. That would be ty. In retrospect it's hard to justify, but they still have a nice cornerstone for years to come.
And if you weren't a low rent welcher and actually knew the game you'd know the guy has averaged...
5.2
6.0...in a 1200 season
4.6
The three prior seasons to this one, now add over 100 receptions.
Show me any back in the league who averaged more than that the previous three seasons.
Spiller is a speed back, he wasn't brought in to be a thumper/pass protecter, he was brought in for his game breaking abilty, like all 4.3 guys.

With quality skill position players in place already and a great defense, should the Bills package picks to trade up to secure an elite QB? Should they spend entire draft on best available player twixt QB/OL/DL?
I'd go get a legit QB. Whomever slips amongst Winston, Mariota, Hundley...
And you did it again, just pf.referenced it but you remain steadfast in not addressing his liability in protection, softness in short down and distance situations, fragility, and inability to beat out an aging RB for the start .
So you play GM since you think he's the 2nd coming of Barry Sanders. What does he deserve to get paid?
There's a solid probability that Hundley would be available when Buffalo's first pick comes along. Possibly even the third round
You don't bring a guy in with 4.2 speed to pass protect and thump, ok? He's not about that and wasn't about that at Clemson, he's a.........get him out in space guy....and if ya knew the game you'd know this. How many sprinters (which he was) are line bangers? This guy is about speed....ok rookie?
Who said anything about Barry Sanders? There is nobody even close to him.
Ther is no back in the draft faster than Spiller, who has proven himself with a 1200/6 yard average season. He's that guy who can go the distance at any time, few running backs can do that.
As you should know....we can't talk $$$$ not knowing the Bills $$$$$ situation.
Nobody in the draft compares to this....
He's like Chris Johnson not Pete Johnson, ok?

I've heard rumblings Cards love Hundley. Might not get out of the 1st. Big time arm, athletic, but more of a pocket passer than runner. Lacks decisive decision making at the moment, needs to improve accuracy, but his arm and pocket mobility are things Arians loves.
He can really take a hit too. Wouldn't be a bad pick up but possibly a reach that early. But if he pans out it really doesn't matter![]()
Rex is a very good coach, tbh, have to admire what he did with some of the worst QBs in the NFL and for one of the most dysfunctional franchises in the league..
Only flaw is that he's too loyal to his ty QBs, which is scary considering the Bills have arguably the worst QB situation in the NFL at the moment..
Mora is a ty coach and he lacked protection this year, so his season was wildly inconsistent, but he's from Phoenix, and has all the traits Arians ideals, so while top20-ish is a bit high, remember that last year he was mocked in top-10.
he has no idea how to evaluate a qb, so bills are toast.
If he learns and brings in a quality QB evaluator, just focuses on defense and rallying the troops, he'll do very well. He can't over-reach.
don't think its arguable. they dont have an NFL qb on the roster and don't have a first round pick
Bills D gonna be best in the league next year
he should have went to atlanta. rex keeps making it harder for himself. atlanta had the offense in place already and all he had to do was tweak the defense which is what he's known for. going to buffalo was a lateral move.
Rex Ryan on another team with no QB....hmmm?
Atlanta the perfect fit.
