LeCoon's supporting cast in Miami was overrated, but his situation wasn't..Riley ran the organization and called the shots, which is why it worked..we've already seen that allowing LeCoon to call the shots only leads to failure..

Love is a flat out Jump shooter man, can't play D nor has a great post game, shoots way too many outside shots for a big IMO. He is good no doubt, but not a max or franchise player, a good #2 or #3 on a team but that is about it.
Also needs a lot of shots to shoot well. Not a good fit for a legit team.

^^ I'm assuming it was a misunderstanding, tbh, Blatt thinking Love isn't a Max player yet, since his upcoming Free Agency has been widely discussed..
He's not the GM, he's the coach, and he's new to the NBA, so it's possible and probable IMO..I don't think he would randomly take a shot at Love, unless there's some going on behind the scenes..
