Yeah, anyone want to offer some ideas about how this will play out? Considering we already have Duncan/Splitter/Diaw/Baynes/Ayres, there's really no room for another big...even if you're just looking at garbage time minutes. And if you know he's not going to get any minutes, why sign him to a 10-day contract? What are they hoping to see in these 10 days?
It seems like this is clearly a move for the future (unless they plan on trading Ayres or something, which seems unlikely), but the 10-day contract is just throwing me off. If they're going to send him back to Austin, why only a 10-day contract?
