having to play BelliGOAT in his building is a lil different than playing McFatney at home imo
Are we just gna sit here and act like he hasn't been eerily similar to Peyton Manning in that his balls shrivel in Foxborough?
Wilson played a ing horrendous game, and deservedly, he got slammed here. Luck played like pure garbage, but nary a peep.

Only saw the 1st quarter where Luck played well but his recievers and team sucked Patty Balls.
Did Luck suck the rest of the way?
Obviously he faced tougher cir stances... he was on the road and against an elite D, not trying to spin it. I've firmly been on the Luck >> Wilson campaign and still obviously am. Just find it inconsistent.
Wilson is only getting slammed as a measure to counter-balance all of the credit he's getting from the mainstream media for his resilience and leadership, no one would otherwise give a about how good/bad of a game he's having. The issue people have is with how much s om the media has manufactured for Wilson.
Sure he the bed tonight....but I'll be fair. Brady had a uva lot of help with Blount making monster runs. Luck had zero help from his running game....
Luck definitely missed some throws and had a few gross picks that didn't matter since the game was already over, but when the game was within reach, Luck was under pressure and had nowhere to go with the ball.
I don't think I've ever seen a bigger coaching disparity in a single game. McDaniels was pulling out all the tricks in the book (like a TD pass to Nate Solder) which had the Colts' D mind ed, while the Colts' game plan was essentially for Luck to carry everyone on offense.
Luck doesn't have a blob of old crusty fat attached to his like Wilson does, tbh.
when blount runs for 150 and 3td in his sleep, it's safe to say it's not lucks fault that they lost. When wilson throws 4 horrendous picks in game where rodgers has more picks than tds, it's safe to blame wilson.
under any cir stances, how are you gna win a game if your QB goes 12-33 for 126 yards, no TD's and 2 picks?
i know it wasn't the case in the game, but lets say the Colts D made some monster plays and got them within striking distance... if Luck ended up winning the game in the same manner Wilson did after a horrid start, you'd all be on his nuts for hisgrit and toughness

Ask Pete Carroll, he figured out how to win a game if his QB goes 8-22 for 129 yards, no TDs and 4 picks in regulation.
If Luck went 8-22 with no touchdowns and 4 interceptions, I don't think anyone would be on his nuts.
wilson didn't end with those numbers either
Colts, by now should have surrounded Luck with some help..
he did run in a late TD, obviously doesn't go towards his passing numbers
not going to defend him, he's obviously brady's .
they're just as inept as they were when they had Manning tbh. they need another miraculous run like when Bob Sanders decided to go ham in 2005
If Luck had the numbers Wilson ended with, I still don't think anyone would be on his nuts.
pretty much. thats why i made the manning comparison in the OP. but he's getting no flak for it, that's why i'm confused![]()
if the colts won in OT and he threw the game winner to get into the SB, i'm sure people here would be talking about his clutchness
Even with a rushing TD, his numbers in regulation look much tier than Luck's do.
true. the purpose of this thread wasn't to promote Wilson > Luck or anything of that sort. i think even you can acknowledge (actually you sorta already did) the discrepancy on this forum though...
well he didn't really hurt his team, he did what he could with the gameplan they had which was very bad. Some drops from the rb hurt them, but they were never in this game, colts are simply too good a matchup for our secondary.
