Anthony
Kawhi
With him being on the decline, I'm curious as to who you guys would pick up on a team over him.
For me it's KD, AD, and really it's tough after that. Harden maybe, but there's questions about how he'll perform come playoffs time.
No way I would take Durant's soft ass, and Harden has been a colossal playoff choker, so I'd have to see him perform well in the playoffs..
Davis is probably better, but we aren't going to know his real impact until he's surrounded by better players and a real coach (he is not as good defensively as people think, though)..
Curry is a PG, so that disqualifies him..
LeBron is clearly on the decline, but too early to take anybody over him IMO..
am i being a GM building a team or a head coach trying to win a chip this year?
building a team
Yeah, I might be overreacting, but sheesh his defense has been abysmal this year. 2013 Harden ugly. His two way playmaking, imo, was what elevated above everyone else.
, that's different. LeBron just turned 30 and already looks to be on the decline and just lacks fire right now... he doesn't seem to care.
Anthony Davis (21), Kevin Durant (26), Stephen Curry (26) are all guys I'd probably take at the moment. I'd also consider Westbrook (26) and Cousins (24)
Just as a disclaimer though, I'd still take LeBron over any of these guys for this season and probably through next season too
Depending on how he performs in the playoffs, Dominos will probably be the best player in the NBA by year's end IMO..
I just really dislike how soft he is, but can't deny his impact..
At this very moment? noone. To build a team around for the future? Give me Davis, or Cousins.
Ok, what players do you think you could swap him for on the Cavs, that would make a bigger impact? Kawhi? KD? I'm thinking it would have to be a SF in that situation.
You don't think dominos outplayed him last year?
I really wanted to see cousins on an up and coming team, and I thought this was the year. Then they went and fired the coach..
For the next 3 years, no one.
For the future, AD.
Durant's game took a massive hit in the playoffs compared to his regular season last year, he was pretty worn out from carrying OKC through the injuries IMO..it was probably his worst playoff run since his initial playoff appearance..
Lol, if its to build a team id take around 30 guys before him.. for this season or the next three i wouldnt take anyone before him.
Can't think of anyone I'd take over LeBron right now except for Durant
Motivated Lebron and going through the motions Lebron are 2 different players (the 2nd version is becoming more and more prevalent). No one is better than a motivated Lebron and I would consider taking him 1st even if building a team if I was comfortable that he would stay motivated more often than not, even at age 30. AD is the only other guy I would consider.
If bringing a championship to Cleveland isn't motivating enough, what is? Surely he sees that coasting isn't an option on this team. Is he still in chill mode after two weeks off or when will he flip the switch?
understandable
It should be plenty of motivation but even with the Heat they basically coasted during the regular season (the Pacers were practically trying to give away the 1 seed and the Heat didn't even try to take it). Really the East requires little effort to make the playoffs and how many of those teams are actually a threat to stop them from reaching the finals?
Registered LeHype hater here. After seeing this comment, all I can say is BAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!![]()
