I get crying if you're a college athlete who just won a national championship, but seriously, a pro athlete crying his eyes out over a conference championship

Why do black men always have this, "I overcame so much diversity to get here" look on their face whenever they cry, tbh?
i would to if my team just avoided me losing a 25M/year milion contract tbh

If Luck or Brady have a game like that today, they wouldn't hear the end of it either
considering that tb can't hear the end of a questionable fumble that was called an incomplete pass despite him making big play after big play in that game, i think it's quite a fair assessment

imagine Cam Newton or Romo or Jay Cutler going 8-22 with 4 INTs in a playoff game..they would be massacred..
Truth. But if that was Peyton, Brady or Rogers we would hear about how clutch they were too so it goes both ways, Harlem.

    Agree.

And two of Wilson's picks were his receiver's fault, went right through the hands.

And anyone who thinks Cam is better than Wilson should watch a little football sometime.

Green Bay D played WAY OVER THEIR HEADS ALL DAY, and Wilson still came through in the clutch,

beating in arguably one of the best 2 QBS in the game...ON WILSON'S WORST DAY IN HIS CAREER.

IN THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME NO LESS.

    No excuses.

i bet the ball that hit gbs guy in the helmet on the onside kick was also wilson's plan and part of his greatness.

there are always things that are out of your QB's control... like defense and special teams.

he was extremely fortunate to be given the opportunity, but he did capitalize. for that some credit is deserved.... Ray Allen's 3 pointer in game 6 was clutch, but its not like anybody slights his shot and says "i bet the rebound that Bosh got was also Allen's plan and part of his greatness"

nah, no credit should be given to him. The game was lost and he put up one of the worst performances in playoff history, that is a fact. It's also another fact that he has been terrible in every single playoff game in his career sans the peytons ultimate shame game.. He won, perfect, but giving credit to him after things like "player slides after interception when he has a clear path to a pick six", "lynch carries 6 tacklers for a first down, makes long catches and has big td run", "kicker throws a td" and "ball hits helmet of gb tackler on an onside kick" is just dumb.

After the Marlon McCree game, I'll never blame any player for getting down on the ground ASAP after making a clutch interception in a playoff game.

you mean to count a game against newton as a playoff game? he was pretty bad in that game too btw, but that's not really a fact, more an eye test.. i mean it was 14-10 until the 4th and wilson was ing terrible sans a bs 63 yd td to kearse that was quite the lol moment..

newton was the opposing quarterback. Wilson faced the Panthers defense which had been rolling. he shredded them

he was pretty bad in that game too btw

but that's not really a fact, more an eye test..
no , sherlock. just like your Giacomini assessments

i mean it was 14-10 until the 4th and wilson was ing terrible sans a bs 63 yd td to kearse that was quite the lol moment..
why was it BS? and how exactly was he terrible before that? oh yeah, "the eye test"

in the game thread i routinely criticized Seattle for trying to force the run (Lynch/Turbin ended up with 78 yards on 21) instead of going through the air where they had repeated success.

    no, really.

    LOL going away from Wilson.
i get that they want to stay balanced, but they're force feeding the backs when Carolina is more suspect in the back end

literally just ran the same play twice in a row
...and as i say it they beat them down the field
still trying to pound the run at this point

    followed by a drop
Seattle is going to need to stay in the air until they estbalish a 2 possession lead, then wear them out on the ground
despite the fumble, panthers only shot in this game is to stay very run heavy. seattle's front 7 is quick but they can be had right up the gut with a power run game (after losing red bryant in the offseason, mebane to IR). they need to protect cam the way they did the last drive.

seattle needs to stretch the panthers D so they can run later in the game and put it away
