let me break it down to you:
seattle never wins games by throwing the ball, never. Whenever they try, they miserably fail. They always, ALWAYS win by running lynch to the ground and creating tournovers, the passing only comes into play when teams commit to stop lynch therefore leaving receivers wide open, only then he throws. There has never been a game where the team came out firing while the defense was mediocre, it is always the defence making things easy and when they are hard, it's always lynch that makes the difference.

deflected all the way to this point, eh? all that just because you cant say Wilson played a of a game against Carolina

and even that was a deflection from my original point, that you have to give credit to somebody for taking advantage of cir stances given to them.

this was where our conversation started, and look where you've dragged it to

i bet the ball that hit gbs guy in the helmet on the onside kick was also wilson's plan and part of his greatness.
there are always things that are out of your QB's control... like defense and special teams.

he was extremely fortunate to be given the opportunity, but he did capitalize. for that some credit is deserved.... Ray Allen's 3 pointer in game 6 was clutch, but its not like anybody slights his shot and says "i bet the rebound that Bosh got was also Allen's plan and part of his greatness"

it was a fest tbh well you can give him credit, just define what kind of credit is that.. Willing his team to victory surely isn't a fitting one.

i never said he willed them to victory. if you read what i posted instead of commencing with your usual verbal diarrhea you would have known that.

to quote myself "he was extremely fortunate to be give the opportunity, but he did capitalize... for that some credit is deserved"

sure, but what kind of credit? The credit of "game manager that gets carried by the history's best defence and the decade's best rb"? That's fine, he deserves that credit, i agree with you on that.

i dont care for the labeling.

he should get credit for the plays that he made. he played like complete dog for 55 minutes of the game. but after all that, he had opportunities and he took advantage of them. completed 6 of his last 7 passes for 130+ and the game winner

last year against the Chiefs, Luck played like dog , but got credit for what he did in the last 25 minutes of the game. in this game, wilson played like dog but should still get credit for the end of regulation + the OT

kind of apples and oranges when you have trent richardson as the rb imo but i see what you mean. Also 25 minutes and barely 5 aren't really the same..

On his 4 INT there are two on dumb mistakes of the receivers to be fair

He did have a bad game but these two throws for TDs in regulation were great especially for a game manager who usually makes 5 yards passes

He should have had two more tbh, another to clinton dix and the two point conversion was just weird

Yeah he was bad for most of the game that put them in a big hole, but he made up for it and all that matters to his team is that they made it to the SB. He was clutch as when they needed him to be. No lie he was carried by Beastmode and the defense, but he's still in the SB.

    Agree.

And two of Wilson's picks were his receiver's fault, went right through the hands.

And anyone who thinks Cam is better than Wilson should watch a little football sometime.

Green Bay D played WAY OVER THEIR HEADS ALL DAY, and Wilson still came through in the clutch,

beating in arguably one of the best 2 QBS in the game...ON WILSON'S WORST DAY IN HIS CAREER.

IN THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME NO LESS.

    No excuses.
Cam went into the Clink, against a top defense, and top DB's, and had a pretty solid game. Drove them down field multiple times, and made it a game. He has never thrown four picks.

Russell has a stacked team, stacked running game, yet throws 4 picks in his first 9 throws. He was playing against a ty defense called GB. He's not needed for that team to win. They could have had Rex Grossman out there last night, and they still would have won. They could have had Kaepernick. , they could have even had Geno Smith.

If Russell was on Carolina, he would have never made it.

Two of the interveptions were his receivers fault but he was really awful. If his team had even an average defense they would have lost by 25+ points

I mean he literally didn't even complete a pass till there was like three minutes left in the first half.

What if this guy had a Gronk/Dez/Megatron, a Jerry Rice? RW is the most successful QB in pro football history. Nobody has won more games and been to two SB's in their first three seasons.

Yesterday he was sucking long and hard then when it matters the most........BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an amazing athlete/QB?

Johhn Unitas had Ray Berry, John Mackey and Lenny Moore all in the HOF. Terry Bradshaw/Bart Starr played on teams with 8 other HOFers. Tom Brady had the great Bill Belichick.

Look at Andrew Luck yersterday, we all knew it was just a matter of time until...INT..INT...and those he threw were stupid, just like the look on his face.

Russell Wilson has the highest passer rating after three seasons than anyone n history. The most wins, the only 300 passer/100 yard rusher in a game. Most TD's as a rookie. Now add his running ability. Anyone not getting is greatness is either blind or re ed. How can you miss it?

Barry Sanders...0...yards vs Green Bay once upon a time. New England getting their ass kicked by KC. Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson.

Dude, don't act like rookie, ok? Everyone has a a bad day, ya always look at the body of work.

Ladainian Tomlinson averaged less than 4 yards a carry as a rookie, what a bust...right?

Here is the list of QBs that threw for at least 4 INTs, less than 210 passing yards and completed less than 50% of their passes in a playoff game(in the modern era):

    Russell Wilson
    Jake Delhomme
    Kerry Collins
    Scott Mitc
    Stan Humphries
    Mark Vlasic
    Jay Shroeder
    Richard Todd
    Doug Williams
    Tommy Kramer

Damn, now that's a list, tbh..

And the best part..every single one of those QBs lost the game, except for Wilson's team

That's a different level of stacked, tbh..

you think if those other qb's had the chance, they would have gone on 3 consecutive TD drives to close the game, tbh?

    Who cares?

Those other QBs never had the chance, because their teams were out of the game..as the list shows, your team should have no chance to win if your QB plays that poorly in a playoff game..this Seahawks team is a different level of stacked..
