There was an ESPN insider article at the beginning of this season where they acknowledged that most professional analysts see Harden as a lesser version of Manu that perhaps has more volume scoring endurance. And that Harden would probably never reach the heights of Manu's prime. It was not intended as a provocative statement. Just ho-hum everyone knows this.
The fact that he, you know, .. didn't. I can't argue on hypotheticals, only with what both have shown.
Manu could have some big scoring games, but guess what? Mo Williams just had a 50 pt game, Tony Delk did once. Probability wise, even average players can have a few big games. And good players will have them even more often. Great players do it regularly. I don't know if Manu could have done it, but in his NBA career he has shown that he can have some great games, but he has been too much part of a great system to know if could have really been a great franchise-type player.
I'd really love to reat that Perry Mason, as someone who was incredibly skeptical that Harden could reach the level he has. Because to me as well, Manu was Harden's ceiling too. But I think this season he has shown a gear that Manu never has shown.
That's just not true, Manu has been the number one offensive option for the Spurs a couple of seasons and the team did more than OK relying on him to produce every night, tbh.
But let's assume that what you're saying is right and Manu never had to be the number one offensive option for the Spurs at no place in time. Does this supossed fact automatically proves that he couldn't?
Harden has never come up big on the big stage like Prime Manu did in the Finals/Olympics. Harden is the frontrunner for MVP bc Bron is coasting and Durant has been injured not bc he's a once in a generation type of player. I'm a fan of him too but he's just not at that level and neither was Prime Manu, they're in the same tier a notch our two below that.
But his competive fire and clutchness makes Prime Manu >Harden comfortably. Atleast until the Beard comes up big in the postseason.
I liked how some posters were sticking with discussing Harden and others were getting e-Hardons talking about chicks. Everyone in here has a lay that wasn't quality. If you don't you're lying or you take up the rectum and even then you probably had an ugly .

You do have a point. However, what you deem quality physical wise might be different than others. Maybe 2 of mine would be not worthy of owning up to...but it. When you're getting yours it doesn't really matter. I bet them Argentine woman though...I hooked up with one that was an International Student at my university and she was amazing. We never got to see what he could've done in a hardon type situation I'm sure he could've scored 30 a game. You absolutely have great taste in women. I know most guys don't appreciate skinny women. I used to test shoots for several agencies in New York and LA (Wilhelmina, Major Models, RED model management and FORD) and have seen a lot of them topless which is really nothing for professional models.
