I did not agree his taking JT to Paris to sing the song was stupid.

    Checkmate.

Dumbest agrees that it was dumb to start with.

but hey, if you really thought Kerry taking James Taylor to Paris to serenade the French was the really cool, smart thing to do I'm OK with that.

Nope. It means there was a dumb thing about it. Overall it is what it is.

but hey, if you really thought Kerry taking James Taylor to Paris to serenade the French was the really cool, smart thing to do I'm OK with that.
    Hey, another strawman.

Just post these from now on to save yourself some time:

    James Taylor boycott murdered France.

Chump, you either think it was dumb or you don't. Opposite of dumb is smart. Pick a side.

So now you are prebuilding a strawman.

    Good job.

The dumb thing was not sending at least Kerry to the march and initially trying to spin the absence.

I don't see singing songs after terror attacks as necessarily dumb. We did it a lot after 9/11 and Boston, and many of those songs were terrible.

Way to be evasive. "not necessarily dumb"...

"singing songs" =/= The Secretary of State taking a washed up 60's folk singer to France to sing "You've got a Friend"....

Just so we're all on the same page and you're in the mood for giving yes or no answers, did the US boycott, the demonstration in Paris?

So your use of the term boycott was wrong, yet you vociferously defended it all the while calling me a dumb and all manner of personal insults.

Remind me again, which one of us is emo?

I said Kerry taking James Taylor to sing "You've got a friend" to the French was stupid.

    You agreed

What were you arguing about again?
James Taylor was symbolic of the City of Bostons recovery from the marathon attack. The only thing that is stupid here is you with your ignorance on full display.

And for getting all asshurt about Pusher calling you on your logical inconsistencies.

But was it as dumb as CC's misuse of the word boycott and subsequent belligerent denial of said misuse. I think that's the real question here.

The fact that he he's incapable of keeping the grounds of his local "business" in order is an entirely different issue.

Yeah, I searched and finally found where someone said the ambassador allegedly went so technically the US did not completely boycott it. The White House just sent the ambassador to represent us with heads of state and then sent a washed up folk singer to say 'I'm sorry".

    You guys should be proud.

Pride tip: when you try to brag about answering "yes" or "no," don't immediately yourself and fail on the very next yes or no question.

Most intelligent people would understand that conceding that I found that the ambassador had gone was a concession that it was not a total boycott. Quite honestly I never really gave a about the walk one way or another but I felt the James Taylor thing was massively embarrassing. That was what the op was about.

So just say no, emo weasel. You're still trying to sell the boycott. It was never a boycott in any way.
Quite honestly I never really gave a about the walk one way or another but I felt the James Taylor thing was massively embarrassing. That was what the op was about.
You made it about boycotts and murder.

    LOL

So chump what do you think about the original post?

Sending James Taylor to sing "you've got a friend" while kerry stands on the stage nodding his head in time to the music dumb and embarrassing?

    Yes or no?
