I just listed a ton of books I've read on Islam. What all those authors are wrong? All that info is wrong? I didn't learn anything?

The problem is fundamentalism. In every religion it is always the fundamentalists that are the most violent and extreme. Unfortunately, the violent and stupid minority rules as far as how the rest of the world views religion. The majority of muslims are good, peaceful people who have the same values as the average American.
